Hello! I'm searching for the official 1.37 (or earlier) rom for my touch diamond, does anyone know where to get it? I've searched without success.
On www.htc.com you can only download the two latest ones, not the 1.37.
I want that rom because of the animations, which are deleted in the newer roms.

i had a quick question about upgrading ROMs. my stock ROM was the HK WWE version 1.34.something. and then i hard-spl and upgraded to the TLR version 3 ROM (which btw is great!). but i want to give the official HTC 1.93.831.1 WWE rom a try.
what do i do? should i go back to the stock SPL? do i need to go back to my stock rom?

My situation is similar to you, I already hard-spl and tried a few custom ROM. Yesterday I also upgraded to this latest HK ROM. No problem, no need to go back stock SPL.
Performance is significantly improved, Highly recommended!
Only drawback is the ROM size is very large that after installed the memory is just 60MB.

just download the file and then upgrade u have hard-spl already installed so u can now upgrade to any rom u want no need to go back to stock rom !!

Is there any possibility to get Meschele's roms?
I have been hearing a lot about his roms is there anyway I can get one of his roms links or download files or anything??
just search for Artemis touch ROMS (Vanilla 4.2)

If you dont need HTC Home I sugest to use no_nonsense_2 ROM made by
sheennick123456 no_nonsense_2 ROM. This one has OPAL dialer - my favorite one.
I finally flashed it to my Artemis few days ago (after test many ROM's from this site) and I'm very glad to ued it.

I was wondering if there is a official ROM version without the radio?
I have read thet it is better to install the official ROM before any cooked rom. That way it would be a lot easier, because than I wont have to install another new radio after every cooked rom I have installed....
So if someone knows where I can find this I would be very thankfull!

I'm searching the standard WM5 ROM since the same is no longer puplished on the HTC website . Do you know where I can retrive it?
I know that there is one published, but the website (after the check of the serial number) give me back that is not applicable to my phone.

When I was looking for new ROM (WM6 or higher) on HTC website, I downloaded a wrong ROM. It is WM5. If you looking for a WM5 ROM which officialy from HTC, you can download from this link

I've finally got a working diamond 2.
I thought I'd upgrade to the latest ROM and see how I got on with that before trying any cooked ROMS.
I d/l'd the latest official ROM from HTC website and tried to flash the phone but it kept giving me error [270]. I was starting to get worried as I haven't installed hardSPL yet (you don't need this for official ROM's I believe). I donwloaded the older ROM and that installed ok (thankfully).
Why didn't the latest ROM work?
What should I do to get this working? I am probably going to try a custom ROM at some point so I will install hardSPL (what is the latest version of this?) will this make the wm6.5 rom work?
any help much appreciated.
