So if I have a rooted Desire, would it then be possible to increase the LED blinking timeout from the default 5 minutes when there is a missed call/text/mail? As it is now the LED stops blinking after 5 minutes.
I know there are apps for this but they aren't working perfectly.
Anyone?

Hello i have OmniaLite with windows mobile 6.5 installed. there is no option for a repeated LED notification i found some registry tweaks but there is no repeated LED flash only, only a combination of LED and Sound and even the notification stops after a short time. i need a repeated with no limit LED flash even when the screens turns off cz when it does the LED stops.
On stock messaging the LED notification will shut off after 5 minutes, in Handcent it will keep blinking until you check the message... Is there any way to take this off? I mean I want the LED but just for 5 minutes, not until I read the message.
Any thoughts?
Is there a way to increase notification led frequency???
I would like to know this as well..
Handcent. It will allow you to change the color and the light will stay solid for about 12 seconds, turn off for 1, then back on for 12 etc etc.
It wont flash quickly but at least it stays on to notify you of a message.
light flow led control, but it doesn't blink, stays solid for like 10 sec, off for 1 sec, back on for 10...

I sent the DEV with Lightflow because several issues with getting the notification LED working on this new phone. He is awesome so I am sure they will get addressed.
I sent him one too with the issues I found, let's hope he gets working on it ASAP
Hi,
How long should last the LED when it's blinking ? SMS received etc...
In my old HTC, I believe it was 5 min.
I am asking the question as when I receive a sms at 1am...it will blink until 6am in the morning....
No really good for my battery even I know it's only a LED...but....
Thanks for your reply.
Cheers,
I miss that option too.
It seems that there is no way to control led blinking time. Led keeps blinking until the missed event is cleared.
I found that better, LED keeps blinking until I check the notification. Hated the 5 mins notification in BlackBerry.
Anyway, you could use Light Manager app, and set sleep time.
Besides, continuous blinking of LED doesn't drain any battery. I often have a SMS or a missed call for more than 4/5 hours, and I never noticed any drain, at all.

I notice that my LED doesn't stop blinking if I have a notification like it did after a few minutes on my HTC M7, is there a way to change this value so it goes away after 30 seconds or so?
