I'm desperate to fully root my evo and maybe get cyanogen mod. If someone can lead me or tell me how to root my evo with 2.2 already on it, it would be greatly appreciated.

The devs haven't discovered a method to root 2.2 from stock yet. It will likely be just a matter of time, but until then, those of you on Stock Froyo can't root yet.

It's only possible with a rooted EVO, but unfortunately the Dev's have not found a way to root the latest update YET

Are you rooted? If so I suspect that you should be able to find the unrooted Froyo ROM for the Evo in the development section.
Can I use Ginger break to root HTC evo. Do anybody know anything about Ginger break.

You will need a computer to root the evo
I'm trying to root a friends droid incredible. It still has s-on and has never been rooted. Is it possible get s-off and root 2.3.4?

It does suck, but the incredible is an old phone by technology standards and therfore the geniuses who figure out these exploits have moved on to find ways to root the newer phones. However with some patience and persistence the method in the link does work.
I can't download any apps phone reboots every time their installing can anyone help thanks

Exactly...like the rom, set up, and what you were doing / what you did prior to when it started happening.
Been rooted for awhile it started I was running New Energy build. Tried wiping everything an flashed again dud same thing. So I flashed Warm two point three still wont install apps
