I'm ordering one of these up!!! Going to use the Gum method to attatch it to the car!! Then the rubber band method to attach the Evo to the dock.

use shoelaces or rebend a hanger...the rubber-band would deteriorate from the sun.

it's simply an intermediary step. we're waiting for Cyanogen to finish coding the 'remote kickstand deployment tool' since having to manually extend the kickstand is proving to be tedious.

And it is amazing! adds the perfect weight, doesn't seem to attract lint and it makes this phone look damn good! It has a detachable clip which i found can also be used as a kickstand i guess lol. Its 2 pieces consisting of a chrome cover and a textured back. I bought it for $30 from my local t-mobile store which was pretty steep in my opinion but i love it!

No this one is a 2pc case with a chrome piece on the front and a soft textured (rubber?) Back with a detachable clip
How much was it?

I agree. After looking at the pics, it's even more convincing that it's a similar one that I had for the G1 which I didn't like since it adds too much bulk than I wanted.
But thumbs up to the OP if he likes it, hopefully the corners don't wear out fast on you after putting in and pulling out of your pockets a lot.
this is the same case that bodyglove is selling on their website. I have been planning on buying one I am glad to see some pics. The kickstand is what is gonna do it for me!

I never have accidents in my car or fall and break my arm but I have auto and health insuance just in case.
When you do eventually drop your phone (and you will)... Post pics.
Nice, I had a body glove for my G1. Really liked it. Just came from my T-Moblie store but all they had were the gel cases. Guess I'll have to wait.
I have one of these for my G1 and it is really nice for protecting the phone. After over a year the phone is still mint but the case itself started to peel about a month ago and it's getting bad now. It still works great though and the plastic clip is super heavy duty. I have dropped my G! many times in this thing and there is not a scratch on it. It is kind of bulky though but great protection.

You're legally required to have car and health insurance...and a case isn't comparable to car/health insurance. a case won't help when your screen cracks, or when your phone is stolen.

No problems its a simple Mod. I use a box cutter to cut it out but you can use razor too.
I modded the otter box defender to fit and it looks pretty good. It makes the plastic a little thin around the volume keys, but still seems pretty sturdy. It wasn't that hard you just have to be careful.

No much going on in these forums so I decided to share this with you guys for fun.
I never had good luck with car mounts in the past especially with my Vibrant. The two ones I did purchased were flawed, one fit the phone so tight that I thought it was going to damage it and the other one hung from the window with suction cups and was always falling off. Needless to say they were both a pain in the ass!
On my commute home I like to listen to the TNT podcast or watch if possible, so I found and inexpensive solution that is ghetto but effective. I used some 3m frame hangers found at any walmart. It fits perfectly snug with my seidio active case. Here are some pics.
speedometers are overrated anyhow. .

not really, they are 3m "top of the line". No seriously, it works great.

There's plenty of apps for that. Plus I'd like to think that most people driving are capable of estimating speed to a reasonable degree.

Just purchased this from china along with a few other cases, this is probably the first tpu case with a flip lid similar to those leather one's, this case has a slightly grainly rubbery finished.
Not bad, looks tough/protective. Although I dislike rubbery covers, since I use my phone in my pocket. It makes them harder to get out and pick up link.

It has a soft grainy finish, so sliding it in and out of my jeans pocket without any problem.
Love the button cut outs...but case looks a bit too thick for my personal for my liking. Thanks for sharing though.
