Time to freshen up on the 'golden rule of root'...which is "never apply an OTA on a rooted device unless you WANT to lose root...wait for a rooted rom or update instead".
Somehow I doubt HondaCop actually applied the OTA.

Like I said, FROYO is a nice upgrade, but it has nothing in it worth losing root for..ESPECIALLY since there are a lot of roms that are virtually identical to the official release AND the official release is right behind it!
The official OTA doesn't do dishes, cook dinner, offer sexual favors in the middle of the night or anything like that, not worth losing root.

Actually, I left for an almost 100% working 2.2 ROM. I really enjoy CM6 but Sense definitely NOT the reason for switching around. hahaha Heck, I have Baked Snack 1.0 and the first thing I did was install LauncherPro Plus! I can't stand having a 3 button dock with limited functionality!

This has been posted several times already. We know and We wait but it will be July before AT&T gets it out the door.
See? This is what happens when you spend what little internet time you have wading through the posts in the various ROM version threads - I totally missed that one and thought I was the first bringing this important news to the group
I try and keep up when I'm at work but this is such a busy forum right now, it's difficult to do that.
Is there any point asking if T-Mobile UK are planning to do it too or has that already been anounced and I missed it? ;-)

Yeah, I've always come back to T-Mobile after a year or so as the monthly bill is always cheaper but the radio on my original rom was so damn old that I could never get 3G reception even in prime spots in London but after upgrading to 1.18.30.10 (think I was on 1.15.xx.xx before) I've not lost reception once and calls are even clearer than before, had problems with a delayed repeat of what I'd already said before like a second out of sync. Can't wait to see BE 2.0...

Folks...grow up! I remember just a few short months ago that this place didn't have this type of arguing and now it is starting to resemble another very popular forum...and the worst aspects of it.
It may not be SPAM per se, but doesn't have much value until there's a ROM available. This whole thread should be deleted until there's actually something to write about. Until I can load it on my phone, it's just speculation.

I am trying to upgrade my t-dash from windows6 to kavana..but i got problem said that files immages currupted error 270 and stuck at 3% and the phone turn off and back on . Can some one tell me what iam missing or doing something wrong ....appreciate for your help.

or you can just app unlock the phone per the instructions and have it actually work..

You the tutorial below that is titled upgrade from 6.0 to 6.1.... and that should help you out man... and as a beginner I recommend using Ricky's rom as it will be easier for you to navigate...

See i'd say different as more people have probs with the 3% issue with Kavana "due to the unlock process and not reading" i think Rickys and the navigation just is really additions oh and the links 4 everything under this text...

Oh ok I see, well I think Rickys is really easy for beginners to use because of all the programs that it offers for the beginners and it seems to be more customizable to me... but that is just my own opinion...

There are several fixes for it now. I get awesome gps performance and stability right now.
tried to edit my post but it didnt work so here it goes:
and yes ofc its important, if i am going to buy a phone for 500-600€ its very important that GPS works perfect and there is no lagg and such stuff..so think again before posting stuff like that, cuz in the end ur the fool

actually, it was in the development section before it got moved by mods. Either way, this question has been asked 10000 times since froyo came out. You dont even have to search, just open your eyes!
There's an official thread stickied in Q&A. That should answer your question. That's why its stickied, to prevent these kinds of threads.
