I have tried 3 different 2.2 ROM's and all of them fail to connect to my exchange server which is a must have for me. I have tried ASOP mail.apk, calkulin's mail 2.2 apk and nothing works.
Does anyone know of a work around or what the hell I can do to get it working. I have asked this question multiple times in Dev Rom threads and nobody apparently uses exchange activesync than me.

After flashing netarchy's stock rooted Froyo ROM, I can't use my VPN anymore. I have a L2TP/IPSec VPN server and it's working fine with my laptop, and was working with my EVO before Froyo. Now, the phone connects to the server with no errors on either end and the connection is successfully established. But that's all. No data is ever sent and I can't connect to anything behind the firewall. At least one other person is having this issue:

It doesn't appear he is using a rooted ROM so it can't be an issue with netarchy's ROM.
Any ideas?
Another issue: I'm unable to play .wav files. The built-in music player says "unable to play this type of audio file." Weird. It was working before.

I recently flashed to athena from skyraider 3.x, and i noticed that in the earlier revision, facebook syncing to contacts was broken, but supposedly fixed in 1.2, however due to a compiler difference in cwm 2 to 3, the update needed edify instead of amend.
I found a supposed fixed update, however after installing that, I am still unable to sync facebook via the accounts and sync section of my settings. Has anyone else had this problem??
I posted a new zip yesterday in the Athena thread. I've tested and it and it works for sure. If you are having problems make sure you are signed into HTC Facebook. The previous zip wasn't working. Sorry I should have tested.

Has anyone experienced problems with HTC Sync when syncing with outlook? I had stock rom up till a couple of weeks ago, when I rooted my DZ and flashed CoreDroid Vision GB2.3.4 with HTC Sense 3
Prior to rooting/flashing I used to sync my device with my work computer, since I use outlook quite a lot. Via HTC Sync, I used to Sync People, Calendar, Gallery & Locations.
Unfortunately, after flashing, it is not syncing anymore. My computer at work recognizes the device, starts the sync, but then it either stops & restarts or gives me the following error message:
Can't Access Phone or Phone have no response (110)
I thought it was a ROM problem so I flashed another one (LeeDroid_HD 2.0) but the problem persists. Have tried uninstalling HTC Sync, restart & re-install but no luck. I'm running Outlook 2003 btw. The last time I successfully synced my device is the day I rooted it, but I synced with my home pc not the work pc.
Help please anyone
I've never gotten HTC sync to work proper with any device. just add account to your phone so you don't have to mess with sync

I flashed my software using the RUU to 1.29.401.11
Before the update I was using the Stock Android Gingerbread Email Application to get my emails pushed to the handset from Hotmail.
Now that I've updated, the application says 'connection error' both with the Wi-Fi on and when I'm connected to mobile data. I've uninstalled the app and downloaded again but still the same. I've checked and double checked the set-up and settings which are the same as before but still no luck.
Does anyone know were I'm going wrong?
Do you know where I can download the Stock ICS Email Application?
EDIT: It's working now. Although I would still like to know if the ICS Stock Email Application is available for download.

Its strange that I had my company email on my handset but now I cannot. Microsoft exchange says " failed try again later".
I'm using ViperOneM8 4.0.2 with stock kernal.
I have tried having my account reset and still nothing.
Started out fine. Went through the fast setup(not manual) and the email was perfect except wasn't able to DL attachments. It said " forbidden by server exchange policy" so I redid the settings. The email hasn't work since. I cannot even log on to it. As said above, failed try again later. I've tried manual and fast setup with the same result.
If anyone has any suggestions I could attempt I would very much appreciate it..
