Hi,
I was wondering if it was possible to get the power widget you can find in the opendesire rom onto the official HTC froyo release.
The widget contains one more button to enable/disable mobile data.
Cheers,
Bert
FYI, it's CyanogenMod Power Widget

i don't think
Even if rooted? Or does it rely on a specific kernel?
root have nothing to do with it
Power Widget need both Phone.apk & Settings.apk (not 100% sure)
Just needs Settings.apk but this will replace the HTC one which is quite heavily customized.
Hmmm too bad. I would have liked it on the official rom.
Switching back to the OpenDesire 3.02 then

Why does not work this widget http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=947680 on the iNsertCoin HD/Z Port 1.9b ROM ???
1. What you need before the flash

Because, it is for 1.72. base DHD ROMs.
InsertCoin 1.9b is 1.86 base.
How it is a combination of these:
1.9 customization pack with nice bootanimation special made by tzutzu78 for InsertCoin Rom (its a new one, very cool imo), % battery, changed icons, and flyin window transition

and

many thanks to Krzysiec for helping me with layout and graphics.
Enjoy
EDIT: Sense3_LockScreen-0.4.zip is a flashable zip for 2.36.405.8 DHD roms. note that it may not work on current rcmix because its framework is different.
thanks all, but i dont want to change ROM, i want sense 3.0 features on stock-ROM.
@lingtong_z, i already tried that, ... , it put me in a bootloop, had to restore
Hi,
Pretty sure you can't simply install the sense 3 apps over stock. However if you download Kingdom v0.1 you'll see the .apks in the system\app folder of the zip file.
how can i add sense 3.0 weather to the ARHD 5.1.3???
im 98.9% sure you can install sense 3.0 components on stock-ROM.
Go to the Android Revolution Rom, you have some of these addons, and check krysieck's post too.
I'm 100% sure you can't just install these on a stock rom - the java classes won't be set up for one and the framework will be wrong too.
Just don't install the version 0.2 CRT mod - causes reboots onscreen flip
That'll teach me to be impatient to install these mods! Looks like I'll be doing a full wipe and reinstall, instead of just the patch. And then try to patiently wait for the APM & CRT mod to be ready and confirmed bug free, I really want the CRT mod working!
Thats what im saying, if you modify some files in the framework and the java classes then it could work.
and if it couldnt, how comes other people have it working?
for those wondering, i did manage to add the sense 3.0 lockscreen and message apk to a stock, oxed ROM. It took quite alot of modifying.
Now i've just got one more step to do, to make the answer/reject lockscreen work.
i'll try with that tomorrow.

Any idea where can we get the Sense 3.0 Lockscreen for flashing? That is the ring kind a lock screen right?
I currently running LeeDrOid v2.2.3 with Mixed Theme by Kalagas. I was wondering if i flash Sense 3.0 Lockscreen, will it override the entire kalagas theme? (i.e. no more kalagas theme)
Thanks.

Hi SERGI.3210, I am fine. what about you?
Yeap. I just did some searches that Froyo ROMs cannot flash the lockscreen. Aiks.
Hi emrahhh
Kalagas theme was fine.. it makes it eye candy though compared with the previous "pure" Froyo theme. Lol. At least something different. Icons on wifi, gps, profile etc is different. Oh btw, you have to select/edit your toggles before you flash that to reflect in your power widgets.

How come? I am flashing on Froyo version. LeeDrOid v2.2.3. I am not using the Gingerbread Sense 2.1 ROM. You should find the theme that is compatible with it.

seems like everyone makes roms with sense 3.0, i dont want it, i want a standard gingerbread rom with the new desireHD/desire s sense...
so i can take a rom with sense 3.0 stuff in it and remove that 3.0 but what files...
Fr_78 well i kinda have to flash a new rom, the old once arent stable enough...

and sense 2.1 is in that rom?
no pure sense 2.1 rom, only 2.1+3.0
and i dont think you can simply delete .apk since its connected to some other files (framework.res ?)
Cook your own ROM.
And post it here, for people to donate to you

InsertCoin 1.0.5 is mostly sense 2.1 (no weather lockscreen, just the ring). It's rock solid, so you could just flash that.
I'd recommend taking a look at Cool AceS rom - it's pure Sense 2.1. I've been using it for quite a long time and all I can say is that it's very stable and fast enough for day-to-day use. And don't forget updating the kernel to v5 to get the compass working.
I use RCMixS 2.0 but removed the lockscreen.apk from the rom zip before flashing.
All that remains is sense 2.1. Fast, smooth, stable and good battery life!

Alex-V, baadnwz and teppic74 have their stock 2.3 roms based on the latest official release.
Yes but with HTC apps.......and odexed......
unofficial BravoS from coolexe?
that has sense 2.1 only and htc apps
you can just remove htc apps from the zip before you flash it too
good, but I can do simply:
rm -rf "/system/app/*htc*"
My real question is: "how can I recognize which is HTC apps ?"

most of them do have HTC slapped in there somewhere..
e.g. com.htc.facebook.apk or com.htcmail.apk
if you google or search around i think there's a list of all the safe to remove apps somewhere and what they do
thank u a lot

You can remove it using this guide. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1225558
But it is very complicated if you don't have deodexed rom. You have to decompile SystemUI.apk and baksmali SystemUI.odex.
I was trying to do it but I leave it.
My rom is deodexed, thank you so much for this guide
