The icons from market installed apps are disappearing from my homescreen or I guess I should say changing to a default icon. Only on the homescreen and not in the app drawer. Anyone have any idea on how to fix it.

From the looks of it you're on cm6. Did you flash the proper gapps? The hdpi one?

Yea I am running cm6 sorry I forgot to mention that. And I just flashed the gapps I downloaded from the cm6 thread by cyanogen.
I'm having the same problem. Running cm6 rc1. Mine are fine unless I reboot, then they change to generic, while a few even show the message "problem loading widget".
Is there a fix for this?

Was hoping someone could explain this for me. I don't know but all of a sudden I have been getting double notifications for text messages. I've always used Handcent since the release of the Evo. I have the stock message app cut off but I'm still getting them. I haven't installed any other message apps either so I'm kind of stumped. I did a complete wipe and fresh install but same thing is happening. Pics:

Figured it out. It wasn't a rogue app. It was Beautiful Widgets: Pack 2. Downloaded it but forgot all about it and what it does. It never showed up in my list of apps so it went unnoticed.

I'd post it up for you if I could right now, but you can pull the wallpaper from the framework-res.apk/res/drawable/default_wallpaper.jpg.
As for the second question, I don't quite follow what rom you're asking about.
This wallpaper?
I've been trying to find an apk for this calendar, but I'm not even sure what to look for. I found this pic in a thread that calls it a stock calendar for the Galaxy S, but still can't seem to find an installer for it. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

thats the touchwiz calendar app. if you're running cm7 on your epic you can flash it, but i've never seen an apk for touchwiz apps.
heres a link to the thread if you wanna flash it:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1452004
That is exactly what I wanted!!!!
I didn't realize it was TouchWiz - I rooted and flashed my epic within minutes of opening the box, so I honestly don't really know what the stock rom even looks like.
Thanks for the help
Hi all,
I'm currently running ARHD 1.2.2, Base 1.26.x, no-3dots mod by blubbers. Sometimes, my status bar seems fine, sometimes it appears wonky like the attached pic.
Anyone has any idea why it happens (look at my settings icon; no text! or rather, the text is covered)?

Why not try leedroid tweaks, it's compatible with arhd also. See if it's better. You have to uninstall blubbers theme first then flash leedroid tweaks.

Hey you guys I am trying to get zooper to use some icons as buttons. So far its frustrating because when i pick bitmap and choose image, the widget screen goes really small, and i get the working icon that just keeps on going. I have the image saved to sd, then tried to save to the zooper folder, and still nothing. I am using this on the lg v10.
Ill attach a example of what iam trying to use.
