Would there be a way to organize apps in different folders for example: spare parts, titanium backup, etc.... in a folder called ROOT. So you could be able to open the app drawer and see folders instead of a bunch of clutter and in each folder would open like another app drawer. Thanks in advance

another free option is app organizer. I think it is a little better then the free version of folder organizer but the paid folder organizer is by far the best.

Like my title states...the one reason I love the MIUI rom is because of the folders. Is there any APK or any way we can get that on another rom? The MIUI rom has certain issues that I do not like to deal with. Thanks.
I believe astro file viewer allows you to classify your apps and make folders on your homescreens. It even allows you to pick the icons for each folder. It's free in the market.

I guess this question is sort of related to this so I'll ask it here. In Gallery is there any way that anyone knows of to NOT display every single folder that has an image in it? It's a little annoying going to the gallery and having folders for music album folders, certain apps, themes etc. I just want to see what in my DCIM folder and sub folders

In the folder you wish to hide, create a .nomedia file in it. That will hide the folder from appearing in gallery.
So I have root explorer, but where do I go to to delete Gallery?

I do that and it tells me,
"Gallery3D.apk cannot be deleted because the files system is read only."
I am running Random Rom Osprey, with EG22.

Awesome! Thanks so much for the help! I feel so empowered that I can now delete anything off my phone.
Do you agree that there is too much stuff pre-installed? And yes I am aware that this is fairly common ..

Isn't the bloatware uninstallable?
Some, but not all of the bloatware can be uninstalled. But you can set up folders in the app screen now and move all the uninstallable bloatware shortcuts there and tucked out of the way. Of course, if the mere idea that there's bloatware on the phone bothers you that much, you're going to have to root.
thanks for the folders tip, must be new to TW3.0

Open your app tray. Hit menu>edit. Then just drag and drop apps into the new folder box. It will then just create one icon called folder with all the apps you put in it.
cool thanks. Now I gotta figure out how to reorder the apps alphabetically in each folder
I have 4 folders on my homescreen.. Games, Tools, Markets and Adult..
I would like to lock my Adult folder since my kids are starting to go thru my phone to play games..
I dont want to lock each app, since I can hide them from the app drawer.. I just want to lock the folder on the homescreen.
is there any app that can lock the folder or a folder app that will allow me to lock a folder??
wow... 106 views and not one answer...

Quick Question...why do picture hide, picture vault, apps...need all those permissions?? I dont understand why they need internet access to hide pictures..anyone has an explanation? Thanks!!
If you need to hide your pr0n, you don't need those apps. Using a file manager such as ES File Explorer, create a new folder with a "." in front of it (Ex. ".Pictures"). The phone doesn't search for media in folders with a "." in front of their name. I think for ES File Explorer, you'll have to go into the settings so you can view all the folders with a "."

I believe that creating a .nomedia file in what ever folder you don't want to be scanned will do the trick also

You hide & secure folders with QuickPic.
It works. Like a charm. The stock my files.apk Will work also. You have to go into settings and click hidden files. And there you be. And the best part is. Most people are not tech savy so they don't know about it. I named mine. Binary. Lol
