Can someone please make this a Splash Image for my phone?
It will replace the T-Mobile G1 Splash. I have CM-5.0.8-DS if that matters.
I added all the text the way I want it, and the dimensions are exact...It just needs to PROPERLY be converted and I don't wanna mess it up.

put it in your desktop and open up command prompt. (Windows instructions)

Do you also mind uploading the font you used? Either upload it to your post or use mediafire.
I used your picture as a base. I tried the one with lens flare but that didn't work out too well.

The only thing I had to do was add the dots under the "R". Everything else worked out great.
For the lense flare, I used Adobe Photoshop CS4 "Portable"

As some of you have already asked for replacements for the Windows Mobile splash screens, I decided to make a couple.
To install these:
Download the NBH file by clicking the link below the image.
Copy the NBH to SD card, Rename to KAISimg.nbh, Flash by powering on while holding down camera button, same as flashing to nand.
These splash screens will not alter your nand flashed Android in any way, they simply replace the old splash screen.

I actually made the K S and E myself using gimp. Searched high and low for the actual font but its not released. I thought about changing the S and E to fit the rest of the font better but haven't got around to it.
Did wonder about that, been searching all over the place for that font, lol, but since it's not supposed to be used on anything other than official google andoid logos, I'll just have to use what I have

I moved the. zip file system on / media, but when I go to restart the phone always goes to the first (animation cyanogen latest version)

You can for Sense ROMs(includes 1.5 Sense too)....I don't think you can for stock Eclair.

If you push to there, it overwrites the "default". if you put in /data/local/ you can remove it and restore the default boot animation.

Not entirely sure why, but it seems like it's skipping a few frames on my G1. It jumps when it goes to and from cyan. That was with the bootanimation.zip, I'll try the flash one and see if it is any different.

This occurs for me on the G1 using the flashable version. Not complaining at all just an FYI, I'm not surprised at all given the G1's hardware

You must copy it to system/apps using root explorer or adb push. I am working right now to correct the errors, and some missing images
in the same time I am customizing the phone application. When I will finish them I will upload an update.zip method.

I've just been killing myself trying to do a bootanimation (using yours as a template)...FAIL!!!
Then, just now, I saw the PM you sent me.
I think I did everything you prescribed, but still....FAIL!!!

I use Animation Shop to convert them to gif and GIFFrame to extract the individual frames

edit : I extracted the files, all look fine. repacked your zip file with compression method "STORE" and it all works fine, plays a little slow but works just play with the value in desc.txt to get the speed you want

Using 7zip, in "Add to archive" I chose ZIP then STORE.
What app do you use to create the zip file?
And one last question ...
Do you have any tips on image/frame selection and/or tweaking the desc.text to help it play smoothly?
