Running 1228.8 MHz without crashing, I'm glad I "lucked out" with my hardware. Normally run it at 1990.0 though. Prior to the latest snap kernel (I'm using v3) I wasn't able to stay in 1228 for more than an hour or so before it would randomly reboot.

Try running a neocore test...that'll give a real result...because fps is what really matters.

Off topic, but what do the sets of green and red signal bars in the upper left mean?

it's an app called real signals that show a more accurate reading of your signal strength. it's pretty cool, just need to now removed the stock signal bars.

FPS2D is 53
Consistent linpack scores of 44 to nearly 48
Neocore is only 32, is this awful? Seems awful.

Sever speed drop on WiFi VS. other PC's on same networks

OK so I know that we are not talking about a full fledged PC but there is a pretty big speed difference in the downlink speeds between my home PC and my Evo on Wi-Fi:
Home PC:

Evo on same WiFi network:
Can't figure out why the big speed difference. Anywhere from almost a quarter to a tenth of the speed of my PC. Just wondering.
On a note, it might be worth mentioning I movied around the house and the phsycial position of hte phone relative to the router did not seem to make a difference. Being 5 feet away was not any faster than being on the opposit end of the house.
I have the exact same problem. My phone goes 3mbps slower than a pc on the same network (down from 6mbps).
my laptop gets about 26mpb but the gets like 20mpb.. i dont see this as being bad at all..
Looks like you have cable. Maybe the speedboost isn't working for the Evo. You know with speedboost your internet connection isn't necessarily that fast its just something time warner does to give you temp high speeds. That's definitely not your sustained download speed.

Improve your A43IT touchscreen

To improve the sensitivity you can use Touchscreen Booster. It is basically made for the SGS (Samsung I9000) But It also works great for me on my A43IT with standard fw 2.4.32. I had to lower the sensitivity to improve. There are more settings which I didn't used yet.

After I installed UrukDroid with root and used Touchscreen Booster, my A43 runs like a dream, almost as good as iPod Touch.

You can get it on the market.

Edit: NVM...
Does it work with the 101IT (firmw 2.4.83)?
thank you in advance!
It seems to be working for me. I don't usually fall for the placebo effect but maybe thats the case. i keep testing it, going back and forth. Sometimes i still have to hit a key twice but not 5-6 times anymore.
Yes,I tested it in my 101IT (firmware: UrukDroid 1.64) seems touch screen more
sensitivity than before!!! (I adjust sensitivity from 50 to 30 )
"Super Optimized" settings.
Sensitivity is at 15,
the next two are 0 and Motion Filter is 99.

Pics don't work.
It is probably a rogue app.
Download a free app from market

If your looking for applications to see if apps are taking cpu cycles there is an android info app in the market that can show you all processes and cpu cycles...looking for something that stays near the top and thats probably the issue. Also make sure that you have google now disabled, NFC, and geolocation if you dont check in everywhere. These are built in "very nice" features but they constantly pull your phone out of deep sleep on the move...and god knows we all want 2 hours screen time :highfive:

Is 9950 really a good antutu score?

On PAC rom with Nova kernel running 1.7ghz and yes it seems like a good impressive score for the phone.
But... Why does my Chinese tablet ( cube U30GT) score ridiculously higher @ 1.6GHz. Both are on JB 4.1
The cube gets -

optimisation.....optimisation.....
You're scores are what you get under best circumstances. Try running your phone all day using it as you normally would then run a test. You're score wont be that high I'm sure, what you get while doing your daily tasks is what really matters because in the end that's your typical situation, not all apps closed data off brightness low cpu ocs and gpu ocs set to full

My guess is that AnTuTu sucks, so use Quadrant...
AnTuTu gave my old Archos 10000 and my Xperia S about 8000, while Quadrant measures precisely and, most important, it measures the stuff that really matters WITHOUT crashing...

Datamonitor in upper corner shows always usage?

Hi,
I just got an Note 8 Pro and been playing around with it and it seems the easiest way out is to root and install a another rom, but i'm just curious about the meter you can activate that shows if you data is in use, mine is NEVER at 0 basically, it can hit to 0 a few seconds but usually its higher, jumping 0.1KB/s - 4.0KB/s, I do not use any social media apps - none.
I have tried press Deny and Cancel and NOT using Mi Cloud and stuff like that so what could it be?
In battery usage Android System is using 19% that is the most, i've read that it needs a few recycles and it'll stabilize(?) but my battery feel alright, so why would Android system draw less after a few recycles? I'm at 60% after 18h last charge. 4hS oT
