Any one tried uvoc kernel for the 2.2 sense ROM?
I tried one before, but got screen problem
anyone?
I think, we won't have uvoc kernel for 2.2 sense until HTC releases the source code of the 2.2 kernel.

we'll have to wait for official 2.2 sense first :S
Hi all.
Is it possible to run the Official Sense 2.2 rom with a UVOC kernel?
I have tried the home-grown 2.2 roms with UVOC but they're not quite as sweet as the actual Official 2.2 Sense enabled rom.
Can I just flash a kernel??
No, not yet anyway.
Sent from my HTC Desire using XDA App
We need to wait until HTC releases the source for the kernel they use in 2.2 .
Is there one? I'm currently running Chad's 12/23 on a custom Froyo ROM, and really want to switch over to a Gingersense ROM, but when I flashed the leaked stock Gingerbread ROM it wouldn't boot with the 12/23 kernel. There aren't really any other Sense kernel's here anymore that aren't very outdated, and Chad's thread says that his latest Gingerbread kernel's don't play well with Sense.
Can anyone point me to a kernel that has multitouch enabled and works fine on Gingerbread with Sense?
For the Q & A Forum.
No, not until the official GB with Sense source is released.
The only kernel that'll work with GingerSense right now is the one it comes with. HTC hasn't dropped the source code for GB sense kernels yet. Once they do, there will be a bunch of custom kernels out there for us.
Sent from my Droid Incredible running a random CM7 nightly.
Chad @incredikernel said that he may work on a kernel for gingersense next week.
Can you use a custom kernel with the Synergy RC1 rom and if so which kernel(s) may be used? Thx.
Sent from my Synergy Evo 4G.
Not yet as the kernel source hasn't been released from HTC.
Not until htc releases the code. Then the custom kernels will come out
i was wondering that too, meh, i wanna overclock my kingdom 7.6s
Thx. Any rom with sense 1.0 would support then?

How are they abbreviated (sense kernels)? And asop kernel goes with asop rom. What exactly is asop? Just basic android os (froyo/gingerbread)?
Sent from my Synergy Evo 4G.
AOSP = Android Open Source Program

It'll generally which kernel it is, and AOSP = android open source project, basically raw android, no carrier os [ touch wiz, sense, motoblur, ect].
Hi, I'm looking for an updated Sense 2.1 rom on Android 2.3.5, is there any rom with custom kernel but with the stock rom?
I would want an overclockable and A2SDble stock rom.
Thanks.
kimsmod is close to stock with oc kernel and tweaks but doesnot have app2sd
wildchild sense s stock but themed with oc kernel and app2sd
Sent from my HTC Wildfire S A510e using xda app-developers app
I've tried kimsmod supreme, its the closest to stock, but from my opinion its a waste of time :/ still lags etc... But don't just take my opinion for it.

Find mindhaxor's sense 2.1 on android forums. That was the only sense 2.1 rom with everything that kept me hooked up till a stable ics.
