As of yesterday, I cannot seem to be able to access this website in any way, using my home wifi network. I am writing this via my iPad using 3G . I have reset my wifi, deleted cookies and cache, even tried accessing via a friends pc using my wireless connection, still no luck.
This happens on any xda links via google also.
Any ideas ???

sounds to me like its your wifi i would try your PC on your friends wifi and see how that goes, if you have reset your wifi then very strange sorry could not be more help
Will have to try later but even then will not know what to try if it is my wifi..it's really strange that all other sites work. I have no problems except xda ??!!

Ok I use wifinder to scan and search for open wifi spots and just recently I am not able to connect to any it just says connecting>disconnecting>idle , I have looked in wifi and network menu and it says ip address unavailable . Can anyone give me some help....? Thanks

I had that problem a while back for no apparent reason and resetting the router fixed it. It was just my first instinct since I work in tech support and our first commandment is "Thou shalt reboot it." I suspect the DHCP table was full or something, but it hasn't happened since, so I haven't been motivated enough to look for the cause.
try disable the networkdata connection
then turn off wifi an turn it on again
Can you be more specific about the type of Wifi your using at your pc??? (ap,wifi card,etc?)
Reset router (virgin super hub) and all works well. Why didn't I think of that lol

So I brought my A100 to Italy and android market does not work. My email app doesnt work. All it keeps saying no connection. I've restarted it several times and every time it will say i have an update. But when i try to update it will give me no connection again. I've tried updating the market by downloading it somewhere else and even resetting it to factory. Stil nothing... Also its not rooted.
Has anyone had this happen to them traveling abroad?
Have you tried checking to see if you actually have internet access? Sounds like your either not connected to the internet or your internet connection is being heavily limited by a firewall.

yup its connected to the internet. I have an alice dsl router. i guess i'll try playing with the router.

everything was working fine before i left the US. then as soon as i connect it to the wifi here in italy it just wont connect anymore... its really anoying.

well cant really access the market to download that. Also tried connecting with another wifi spot and nothing.
Just to clarify wifi is working just fine. i can connect to the internet and browse normally. Just wont allow me to access the market and my email for some weird reason.
Ok so i found out what the problem was. Market auto updated to a bad version. Only way to fix it at the moment is a factory reset... good bye pre-loaded gamestop games
The other day I was trying to log into Facebook app...didn't work. Tried using dolphin to log on..didn't work. Used my bimmer post app..that was OK. Gmail doesn't work..using dolphin to log into yahoo news worked. Hotmail is a no go..a lot of random sites would work though. Using WiFi everything is OK. Yesterday everything worked like normal and then today back to random connectivity. Oh I get notifications from those apps just can't launch them. Any ideas?

u have droid wall or android firewall installed? adfree?
sounds to me more like a problem with your ISP then your phone, does the problem ever occur on 4g? what about if you have even spent a extended amount of time at a friends or family's home where they have wifi as well. it could be your router at home. I remember I had a Belkin router that just didn't like my phone and once I got rid of it, I immediately saw more reliable connections over wifi
No firewall or anything of the kind installed. Problem doesn't happen with WiFi..it only happens connecting to mobile data. I tried pulling battery and sim card and that worked. I'm experiencing it again so gonna try doing that. I pulled only the sim out and problem still there. Facebook won't connect but xda app connects. That's how I'm posting this now. Its weird that certain apps and sites will connect while others won't.

on a secondary re-read I almost guarantee that's a DNS issue. Do u maybe have a social networking only data plan, or a data plan with certain restrictions perhaps?
Have no problems with the app when using wifi. If I just try to connect with my data connection i get failed to connect to server or just stays at title page. If i use the internet browser( ie,dolphin,chrome) I can get to xda's page but when i click on the forums it says Error:requested content forum.xda-deveopers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=750' cannot be resolved. I tried differnt roms like Pacman,baby jelly, and am using mysense again and same problem on all three. Dont know what to try

When im using my phone in my house, I cant download some apps in playstore, it's stuck in downloading but when im using it in my wife house there is no problem I can download every apps.
Also if i try to browse some website using my pc the pages dont even load. Some of the website that im having problem is facebook, gmail, yahoo and youtube. But when im browsing in my wife house using her pc I can browse these websites with no problem.. do you think it's a router problem? Btw my setup is modem then wireless router then hub in my house and in my wife house modem then wireless router. If anyone can help please im having this problem for 3 months

You may need to reset your modem and router, pull the plugs then replug after 30 secs. Leave for a minute to reboot, what modem and router are you using, ?

does your wife house have a different internet service provider? you may have a really crappy internet plan. also make sure you're not downloading/uploading anything and make sure your wifi is password protected. and make sure your router is not like buried under a bunch of stuff that blocks the signal.
im using zyxel P-660HN-T1A modem plus Wireless Router D-link dir600 and we're using same isp but i got 5mbps in my home and in my wife house only 1.5mbps and im not downloading anything, i tried doing solo modem to pc only and have same issue, maybe there's something wrong with my modem?
