Mobile Webbs

I've converted a PC screen saver I wrote to the HD. It should actually work on any device, though... It's called MobileWebbs, and it is a flowing design of lines that seem to curve around each other, although they are all actually straight. I've attached a zip file with the executable, the Formlib.dll and the Basic4PPC source code that makes it work. I've also included some screen shots, but I had to use a timer to get them, and it seems its difficult to get a snapshot of a design as it completes before the next one starts, but you can get the gist.
Notes:
1) To end the program, just tap the screen anywhere and it will stop.
2) If you use a program like Gyrator2 to auto change the orientation of the screen, don't change the orientation once MobileWebbs is running. This causes it to freak out. You can start MobileWebbs in any orientation you wish, just don't change it once it starts running.

Edit: 1/5/09 - Added cab file -- sorry everyone, the program that made the cab file didn't allow much flexability such as ability to install to storage card, or program icons, or even a proper program name, but it's still exciting to watch it do it's magic!!!

YES IT DOES!!! I still have a polaris that I'll use for 3d tethering, since I live in the US, and 3g doesn't work on hd's. But yet, I have one, and really like it. A lot!!!
Hey, you should try my MobileWebbs.. it's mesmirizing! And everyone you show it to will be in awe. Just don't change the orientation, tho.. It doesn't like that. But you can start it any way you like, just don't change it once it's running.

No, I didn't notice. But I will. I'm shutting down for the day now. I have to drive 800 miles to get back home and will take a peek sunday night. I was actually quite impressed with the speed of the graphics thus far. Gyrator2 takes only a moment to redraw after re-orientating, and all in all, the device seems quite faster. I'll be waiting to see what you can improve
btw... if you get a sec, would you make a cab for MobileWebbs? That stuff seems to be second nature for you, and it'd take me an hour or two to get it figured out. Well, gotta run. Hope you're doing well

1. I would like speed.
2. I LOVE eyecandy.

I would like that too, but speed and manila 2.5 dont go together on Diamond device....

i like don salaris roms very much
but the 2.5 simply isnt for diamond
when you want to make a call from your favourite people you have to wait 3-5 seconds every time when you choose to make a call
so it is a clear

Yes this is my first post BUT i have read alot of things i just do not type anything n reply. ive looked threw ALMOST everything threw here and ppcgeek. and i didnt see anywear saying you cant post your first post as a request...

How to get rid of UNREVOKED Splashscreen?

How do I get rid of it? My screen shattered yesterday, still works but looks like hell. Im going to do a factory reset today before I take it in, but I want to get rid of that damn unrEVOked splash screen so they dont give me any trouble

Section 6

easy way is:
ROM Manager -> Download ROM -> Ihtfp69 -> Boot Animations -> Download -> then pick from the list.

Haven't tried this method, yet. Will have to shortly, if for nothing else than the knowledge.
Another way, if you just want the splash screen and you already have S-ON and unrooted, This page has the official HTC splash screen at the bottom of the OP.

That's boot animation, not splash screen.

got it, thanks guys. Npw lets hope they give me a new phone on the spot. I dont suppose I will be getting another AMOLED screen though?

They tend to give refurbished ones, so maybe. You could always ask.

Nope i think you will be getting a SLCD but some people prefer it so you might me happy with it.

Black and yellow theme, cant find?

I was recently looking thru some of the development of themes for the HTC Evo and saw a black screen with yellow lettering and really liked it and thought whomever developed it done a great job, the problem is now i cannot find it, can anyone help me?

its by jonnybueno who sells the themes in the market. Search for ADW themes he has a bunch. What I don't know is if any of the yellow themes actually look like the image above. He never really says that he finished the theme. The images of the ones in the market don't look like the image above either. None of the images in the market show the notification bar.

Didn't actually find it. The issue is that ADW doesn't change the notification icon colors. I PMed him to see if he ever finished the framework. If I could get the files I need I would throw it together, but I wouldn't hold my breath. Also ADW doesn't seem to change the font color although I think this can all be done in CM. I think with CM you can change the font colors and notification bar colors. Thats 3/4 of the battle.
I'd love to pull this together as a Steelers ROM for the Super Bowl..

An animated gif? for what? Im not looking for just any animated picture to put in my sig, I was looking for something custom that someone could make.

It would take a while. You could use this gif file as a template. Break the gif down into its original .png/jpg files. Then use Photoshop cs5 to edit all those pictures manually. The hardest part will be the transitioning of the letters but should go by pretty quick once you have finished modifying your base/ background layer's color scheme. Then use a a gif making utility to turn your new modified picture sequence into an animated gif and upload as your new signature.
