that sure is some not so subtle advertising for your site there..

Downloaded earlier today, its a great game, recommend it to anyone, best top down racer on android IMO

Doesn't work on my phone, saying it's not licensed. Apparently I'm not the only one experiencing this problem.
Killed it with ATK, restarted, seems to work now. Downloading additional data...
EDIT2: Pretty good game

It's okay, was hoping that it was more like Ignition.

Delete folder com.polarbit.RecklessRacing in data\data then try to download again.
Servers are just overloaded.
This game is GREAT ! Beautiful and very playable..

same problem for me too. just stuck trying to download. been trying for two days now.
i tried to delete that folder that you mention but isnt located anywhere on my phone or sd card.
any other ideas? it is already to late to get my refund.

i installed the game and played it twice, two days ago.
just now i had a look at my battery stats and especially at the sensor usage (see this thread for a howto to access those numbers: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=817794)
does anybody else experience reckless racing taking up lots of sensor usage even though it's not even running?

Didnt happen to my phone and I played it last night. I have android system on top.

Quadrant does work. I installed both. Advanced had no textures for a few runs, then they appeared ok. Standard worked from the start.

Tango video chat shows me upside-down to other phones.

Looks like Plex doesn't work - audio only, no video. So much for getting an air server replacement after getting rid of the damn iphone

Need for speed shift doesn't work

Tetris from Electronic Arts doesn't work neither, but it doesn't work with any Gingerbread device.

Tetris does work. I installed it yesterday after looking through my purchased apps. Its plays fine.

Sorry Root explorer works for me!

folder feature and dock changes do not work in touchWiz 4.0
Created a folder and made changes to dock. Did restart later for another reason and dock came up with one app changed and the folder had a whole different set of apps in it.

every app I've tried so far that requires root acquires superuser permission and works

Same here for tango and its the same for qik, dungeon defenders hd loads but when you try to play out freezes, iv had that football game from samsung hub freeze to o

Indeed. As a matter of course i install ROM manager, even if there is no support yet for my phone, and always run the 'fix permissions' option. It seems to greatly reduce these sort of failures.

Strange, I bought it and then it crashed every time, and looked up and it was said Tetris crashed on Gingerbread. So already refunded myself :/.
Edit: installed a pirated version and that works /: Don't wanna buy & not working

Tower Raiders works for a short time then freezes screen. Have to press power button twice exit from screen then go in to task manager to close app

X plane 9 does not work, I did request for the update and mention about new S G S2. keep crashing when I load the app. used to work great on my Desire HD

I played some Empire Defense and it keeps freezing at random spots. About every 5 to 10 waves.

[MOD] Tegra 2 Nvidia/PowerVr Plug-Ins

I did not write this. I got this idea from ssserpentine and used it for the Galaxy Tab. Wanted to see if it worked for the MT4G and it does. I have been playing Fruit Ninja all day.

What you need.....
To be ROOTED!!!! YEP thats pretty much it.
Go to the Market and download "[ROOT] ChainFire 3D". You can use the Free version, or just go ahead and chalk up the $4 for the paid version.
Download the Nividia Lib from the bottom of this post. Put on /sdcard/
Install CF3D Driver by clicking Install/upgrade/ uninstall CF3D driver.
Then Set the CF3D as the Driver. It will run a script and reboot.
Open Chainfire3D:
Install Plugin
(will search your /sdcard/ and show
Install Plugin
libGLEMU_NVIDIA.zip
/
Click the Nivida Plug-in. It will install it. When you see plug-in install complete. Press back button, and select
Default OpenGL Settings.
Click: Use plugin. Select Nvidia. Exit !
Now go to the Market and Search for Tegra Zone.
When you install a game (this happened to me, may not happen to you) Feint will try to open like 4 x's and give you an error. Just close them. Then the game itself will say its taking a while to load do you want to FC or Wait. I just hit wait and the games opens right up from there.
Install Tegra Zone from market.
Now you can download and play Tegra2 Zone games on your Mytouch 4G without getting the dreaded "Hardware not supported error"
NOTE: NOT ALL GAMES WILL WORK AS THEY ACTUALLY NEED THE TEGRA2 TO RUN. MOST JUST RUN OFF THE NVIDIA HD DRIVER.
DO NOT PURCHASE BANG BANG RACING!!!!!! It needs specific hardware that cannot be emulated at this point.

If somebody has a .so decompiler until my lappy is working right, Can you please open the Nvidia.so and tweak it for the mytouch. Did seem like the games not running at max to me.

I think the big ones like Samuri II does. But Fruit Ninja. I guess looks about the same.
This is prob more for getting the THD Games that you wouldn't normally be able to get on the MT4G because of unsupported device.

IT's against XDA rules to discuss or post warez. So i would suggest using the Tegra Zone to get your games.

All games say the requested item not found. What's up with that?

I don't understand the question.. Tegra Zone saying you cannot download a game? Or the game is not working when you install it.
1: Make sure you installed the plug-in exactly like i posted
2: Make sure you are not trying to download a game that has not come out yet from Tegra Zone.

Tegra Zone will not work on our phones even with the Plugin, you would have to download whatever THD games are on the market or google if warez is what you are looking for

I downloaded, Dungeon Defenders, and once the 3billion extra files finally finish downloaded i will be able to play it. So pray tell, why won't Tegra Zone work on our phones?

Um what. Tegra zone has worked on my phone since it came it... Plus its not a game is just an app about games and news. Rip tide plays just some colors on the guy are messed up sometimes.

Pinball is working perfectly on my glacier running 7.0.0 I haven't tried any other games but when my wife saw it she wanted it too, shes on the nexus s and it also worked on that just fine so ty for the thread

Glad it helping everyone out. I have the source code for the powervr plug-in. But don't know of any games other then Lets Golf 2 that need it. But that game runs fine on my MT4G anyway. So if more stuff comes out i'll compile the plug-in then.

Sorry without the Nvidia plugin it will tell you that your device is not supported. Adding the plugin fixes that and you are right its just an app that will direct you to the Market to download games so its kinda pointless.

Another thing, the Android Market comes in multiple versions, all depending on the device. we use the hdpi market, which used to have everything until the Tegra 2 market came along, which had everything plus Tegra 2 only games. Can we install that version of the market to grab some Tegra 2 games as well?

[Q] low fps on PvZ 2

Anyone installed Plants vs Zombies 2? It doesn't hang/FC but runs with low FPS.
I'm using X-Gamer+LuPuS and HD games like real racing 3, bladeslinger, MC4, Nova 3, Gangstar Vegas runs perfect. So I think it isn't in the RAM problem.
Should I upgrade to JB? I tried CF3D but no effect.
What should I do?

humm i am using Atomic GB 8.0 and PvZ 2 runs fine while in gameplay.It lags sometime in load screen and level select page but not in gameplay.Restart ur phone and open game without opening other apps.See if it still lags.

hey got it now. I installed before version 1.4, which is third party because PvZ 2 wasn't incompatible in Play Store before. EA now made PvZ 2 compatible to arc (currently version 1.5). Smooth gameplay for now. My data was lost though. :crying:

weird. If you search in Play Store but none was found, it is incompatible. I just searched the app, then install.
possibilities may be it isn't available in your country. What was exactly the problem?

yes, is dont appears in The search and through a browser it says incompatible. Im from México but the play Store versión shows 1.5.2527

Yep. It is needed. apps from google play will not 'overwrite' third party apps. But, i lost my data.
If /sdcard/Android/data/com.ea.game.pvz2_row is still present after you uninstall v1.4, delete it. I got a bug in 3rd mission that i cant plant peashooter when i tried to retain the data.

This is what i did:
1 Made a backup of the data
2 Erase Data and Unninstall the app
3 Erase the obbs
4 Reset and wipe dalvik and cache
5 Erase Data and cache of the play store
Still no use, its says incompatible...
Im going to download it from "another place" and see if it really improve the speed.

Yep, that version 1.5.252752 really improves the speed!!!
It not perfect (some lags occationally) but comparing it to the old one it is really good.

Gameloft games are made for maximum profit, they're the EA of mobile gaming. They forced their employees to work long hours, while this is the norm for gaming industry, 120hours a week has been quoted. They have poor users policy as well. They will purposefully make older games incompatible with newer devices or take them off the market even though you purchased the game and the device can run it, to promote their new ones. They originally charged 99cents for Asphalt 8, but the game is designed as free to play, as in you play for long hours to gain points/money in order to progress or upgrade and utilize in game purchases that way, milking more money from its users that way.

Since the latest update i'm completely unable to open anything from within the menu. I have no access to any races, options, multiplayer whatsoever, it just won't open and i'm stuck in the menu. I can't even quit the game with my device's back-button.

Try disabling AdBlock or Ad-Away. I was also mad about this and the problem was a hidden AD on top of the Menu.

The game is stuttering on kit kat 4.4 builds, the car seems to going back on high velocity. Wierd.

Really? Well thank you for the advice and info but i will certainly not disable my ad blocker for a paid game to show me ads i haven't had before. Also disabling is not that easy in my case since the ad blocker is included within my ROM (ARHD for HTC One). In order to disable it i would have to completely reflash it which i'm also not going to do just for this insolence on the part of Gameloft.
In what way is this even legal procedure by Gameloft making me pay for a game first and patching it to unplayability with an unrestorable update later on?

You have to add *gameloft* to the host whitelist, and everything will work.

Sounds promising but the hosts file itself is rather a blacklist isn't it? How do i configure a hosts whitelist then?
