TP2 panoramic pics - Touch Pro2, Tilt 2 Windows Mobile General

I have done some searching and didn’t come up with all the info I was looking for. Is there an app or tweak that allows auto stitching when you use the panoramic picture option on the device? My GF's Samsung takes great panoramic pics and stitches them together automatically. Whenever I try they always come out looking like crap because I can’t get them to line up very well on my TP2.
Thanks for any advice.

bump for anyone with info?

Geotagging photos

Does the HTC TP2 come with software that geotags photos (adds lat long GPS data to jpg) ? I cannot seem to find this function?
If not any good solutions?
In the camera app, click the menu icon (lower right corner when held in landscape mode), then the camera icon. This should bring up the Capture Mode menu -- hit Next, then GPS Photo. This will turn on the GPS receiver and will place the GPS co-ordinates into the picture's EXIF data.
You may need to install the 'Enable_All_Camera_Modes.CAB'.
So, once you Geotag a photo, what good is that?
I did it a few times, but you have to wait for a GPS connection before you can take the photo. It was annoying and I couldn't find any reason to even do it.
Setting GPS Mode on the camera is one good option, albiet sometimes it can be tedious waiting for it to lock to take a quick shot.
GPSToday can also geotag images in the background automatically or on-demand after taking the shot. Also does a horde of other cool stuff.

Thanks. Seems like my HTC TP2 came with no software to do this. I guess I will try GPS today and Enable_All_Camera_Modes.CAB when I can find them to download.
I find geotagging a useful tool as I often need to share photo locations with colleagues at work either using Google Earth or some other photo location display. I'd have thought HTC would have built this in when I bought the device but guess not.

It is built in. The 'enable all modes' CAB file turns it on. Not sure why they disabled it.
So where's the 'enable all modes' cab file located....can't find it??

Here, plus much much more. Camera modes are in post 5, but read it all, probably other things there you'll be interested in.

Please help, Need Camera Cab, I believe.. Thanks.

Basically my camera functions, i can see what id like to take a picture of on the screen, but when i save the picture i took, the image is scrambled lines of color. if i transfer those picture files to my computer they look the same, scrambled. So if the camera functions and theyre saving scrambled on my phone im assuming its a software issue with htc's built in camera app and i do not look forward to a hard reset.
I know its been asked before because i just did a ton of research, but is the camera cab file for the rhodium, more specifically the AT&T Tilt 2 available online anywhere, does anyone have it or a way to extract it? Id be incredibly grateful for your help, thanks for your time and efforts in advance.
actually i stand corrected. it is taking pictures properly, because i just went into HTC Album, and the pictures look perfect. In touch flo3d they look scrambled, and i even went into file explorer and saw scrambled photos. so maybe this is a random occurence? but they still always appear distorted in everything else but HTC Album. Now im lost. definite software issue, i still have a feeling the camera cab file would work, unless its touch flo3d corrupt. opinions?
nope. only the thumbnails in HTC Album look perfect, when you tap on the thumbnail the picture full sizes into the scrambling im talking about. definitely an interesting software issue.
anybody? is there a newer version of the HTC Camera cab thats is easy to find and will work? or does someone think its not the camera app? suggestions?

Good OCR for android?

Hello,
I am curious if anyone can recommend OCR software for android?
I did search, and came up with several hits, but I am looking for someone who has had experience using a tool and can recommend a solution.
Thanks!
Matt
ocr demo
You may want to take a look at leadtools ocr app, I have installed and played a little with it and it was good. If you use the camera to take a picture to ocr, the app gets good results.

Photo Ap help please

I have two pictures that are shot one right after the other in the same location seconds apart. In one I'm blinking and in the other my kid is not looking. I would like to combine them into one picture.
I know I saw a commercial, for I believe an S4, that can do this from your phone. Does anyone know the name of the app. I can't find it. (android)
I have an older version of photoshop elements of someone knows of a way to do it on Windows, or a free download, as well. It appeared that it would be a lot of work on there. The versions that appear to have this feature are newer, so I'd have to do it the old way.
I tried to find a Picasa app on the android phone and failed with that. Have yet to go back and check into that on Windows. Any advice is great, thanks!
I
No advice, eh?
Thanks for the pm Kennyg

Why would you want to edit that amount of photo's at once? Thats really unprofessional in my opinion. Simply said, not every photo is exactly the same, no matter in what kind of condition. May there's a small difference in the darks, white's, colors, balance etc... and you are talking about 100+ photo's. The result of editing them all at once with the same settings and chances won't give you good results.

I took overall 130 night sky (stars) shots with 30 second of shutter speed. Now i need to change detail of pictures in order to get good results. Then, i will make a timeplase video with these pictures.

My opinion still stays the same, unprofessional and it won't give you the best result. I understand you want to keep the looks of your photo's as much as the same as the others but even in dark conditions the photo's aren't exactly the same and giving all the photo's the same chances won't look as good as it could for a time-laps video or just as a picture. I am a photographer so maybe I take it a bit to serious in your eyes, so i will keep it by this. I hope some one else gives you a hint for an app you could use because I honestly don't know an app or program that can edit that amount of photo's at once, simply because I never had and wanted to.

You are photographer but u miss something. LG G4 supports raw photo capture. I took all the pictures on JPEG mode not on raw mode (just for test) then i combined all 130 pictures with a timelapse app on android. The result was amazing without editing photos. I will share video when i finish with editing and u will see what can G4's camera do. It is a sample video of timelapse that one guy shared
