Wm6 ..... great ..... but !

I am using Wm6 since september .... i have i-mate's Pda2k ....

G 1337.38
D 5.60.00 WE
Helmi_c's WM6 ...
i got everything to work BUT WiFi ... i got wpa-psk (tkip) encryption on my Belkin54g router .. my BA is not connecting to it for some reason .. i used to connect to it throught Wm5 and Wm2003 se (Wm2003 Se usin retina wifi) nvm .. i NEED to know how to work it PLZ ! ....... any help apreciated ....

that or he really flashed the wrong radio rom into it... which could explain why his wifi doesn't work...

AFAIK radio rom has nothing to do with WLAN nor BT.

AFAIK Radio ROM has "A LOT" to do with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth(both are radio waves, of course with different frequency)

The radio rom is for GSM part of the phone, and the drivers are responsible about Wlan and Bluetooth, so the radio rom has nothing to do with Wlan.
About 7assoun's problem i had similar problem, the partial solution for it is when your device not connect, disable Wlan and reenable it , also make sure that your AP(Router) is configured to transmit on both 11 and 54 mbit or 11 mbit only in order 11 mbit devices to be able to connect

Hi, im newbe so, please be patient.
4 days ago i've upgraded mi qtek 9090 frow win 2003 se to win mobile 6 but i have some problem
the phone module is not working anymore ( it's no possible to turn phone on)
the pda do not save the gps settings after it discover by blutooh ( every time i turn off the gps reciver and turn on again i have to set again the serial port, the passkey etc ).
i've tryed to upgrade the radio but i'm not able do download file from ftp at the following link because ftp doesn't work:

at the moment my configuration is:

at the time im writing it seems that phone module is working again( ghosts in my pda ? )....anyway
can someone help me suggesting something or can someone send my the file i need to upgrade my radio or blutooh version (if this can help ) by email?([email protected])

hi, i've upgraded the blutooth version ( now i have 2 blutooth icons in my connection task ) but i'm not able to upgrade the radio version.
i have used 2 method [ Quick/EasyTYPE II and Second Methord Type I ] but it return an error that says that the upgrade is not compatible with my device.
i'have tryed to search for a shipped rom but i was not able to find one compatible with my pda.

SPV M700 GPS failure

Can anyone help, have unlocked my phone, from this site, have flashed ROM version 1.23.404.2 Radio 1.50.08.11 and have no problem with most of the applications except for GPS. tomtom 6 installed set up on com 9 baud rate 9600, config on tomtom states "waiting for valid signal" i have used beeline GPS but it says cannot connect to GPS. I have read a lot of info on this site, tried to use information but no life as yet. If there is a program to congigure GPS or step by step guide ( new to this game ) then please advise.
I wait in hope to bring my M700 back to life.

I have a m700 and tomtom just auto detects the internal gps.
when I go to the gps config it says internal gps. there's no baud rate or port to configure.
I'm guessing you have the wrong radio rom or are bypassing some tomtom auto-config.
Try reinstaling the latest radio and tomtom

WM6 ..What happen to the built in GPS?

After upgrading to WM6 for my trinity i notice i cannot access the built in GPS with my tomtom software...is that common? ..is there a way to make the gps active??

Uhm, reflash the ROM or the Radio ROM?

Check if it's been set at COM9
Radio ROM 1.50 of 1.46
Takes up to 3 min after a flash to find the sattelites and be outside.

Had the same problem
I had the same problem with my trinity. After I upgraded it to the wm6.1 elegance I was unable to get the GPS working.
After upgrade of the Radio to Ver. 1.38.00.11 problem was solved and I had the GPS back again.
Hope this will help.

Trinity M700...No GPS device!

Hi, Please help me!!!!! Ive just done a rom upgrade and unlocked the phone.
The radio version is now: 1.16.00.00, I can't remenber what the old version was. When i load tomtoms v6 it keeps showing No GPS device!......Is there anything i can do to sort out this problem....(Going MAD).
Gps receiver selected: other NMEA GPS receiver
Gps baudrate: 9600
Com3:
GPS in COM9
COM7:
RIL on COM6:
S2410 IRDA
Also is there any way of going back to my original radio version?

you need to udpate the radio rom! look in the trinity section i think it might be under rom developement. this is a good source of info anall: www.trinityguides.info

you should be able to find to find a back up of both the Orange stock ROM and radio in the trinity section. i downloaded mine from there
this is the file name:

Still no no GPS device even after Rom upgrade.........I wish I did'nt bother...............
