Nice work, Not sure where to get the LATEST cab files for the missing items, Live messenger,BT HID, etc.
As there only available in the roms except when someone decompiles them from the roms.
You cant stop cooking because there is an official version out lol, thats when the roms really start to shine as the bugs are (hopefully) fixed and we can perfect them.

BT HID is the same as prev roms.
only MSN is newer but i still dont trust the build in terms of stability
build 1400 is still the most stable imho (and a cab is avail)

Dude, I don't know why people want the HTC home stuff so bad, that crap is ugly as fuq .. Just use Wisbar, make ur today screen look WAY better than HTC could ever imagine.

do you have a nice skin for wisbar? i think thc home is simple and complete...

you can find alot of great skins for Wisbar at www.lakeridgesoftware.com
the HTC touch stuff is just ugly in my opinion, the clock is big and intrusive the weather tab is ugly and only displays 1 day.. etc. etc.
We digress, this thread is for black satin, not wisbar or HTC.

My clean version of no rom maker name stamp WM 6.1

After tired of seeing other rom makers stamping their name on to the customized rom. Here I present to you a clean no rom maker name stamp version of WM 6.1. BTW, I am trying to make it as close to OEM as possible. Please report any bugs. Credits to Schaps and Bepe and others if I missed mentioning them.

MY ROM is what I'm calling it. Not in the sense that I did anything to it but that I use it.

does your rom handle the numeric keys while in a call correctly?
i.e. when pressing "Y" while in a call a "Y" should appear in the application and not "1".

It's a reg entry, so you could pop your own name if you wanted or simply remove theirs. This will be helpful to those who don't want "Chef Lite 2.0 Final" or something as their ROM version. Trashcan's offering will mean you don't have to do that for yourself.

This is to micmic the Kaiser/Touch. HTC Home and the Quick Launch links can be disabled via "Today" settings.

Do you have the comm manager button vibe fix cooked in?
How is the 6.1 memory leak problem on this one? That has been the major problem with all the WM 6.1 roms I've tried so far. Runing Oxios close apps once an hour usually claims back a meg or so of RAM, even when I haven't even touched the phone.

Comm manager button vibe is removed because I am trying to make it as close to OEM as possible.

Thanks for this ROM trashcan. Seems fast and does not have too many unneccesary programs. I have one request to make please. Can the E (GPRS) automatically turn off after it checks mail, etc. and starts up again when it needs to? I have tried other ROMs where this is builtin.

[PRJ] Request a ROM!

Similar to what kareem9nba did for the Raphael, Hermes and Kaiser (and I did for prophet users) I'm opening up a service to let you request ROMs with the apps/tweaks you want, without the crap you don't want!
The ROMs will (for now) be based on the 2.03 shipped ROM, but I may start using a newer XIP/SYS when I get a decent, stable one - yes, that means no WM6.5 custom ROMs yet, sorry but I don't have the time to port everything yet!
What I can do:
Programs/Games:
Thousands of these. - I'll add paid apps, but you have to supply the registration details, or add them during the first run.
Version:
You want a clean ROM? say so, and I'll strip the rubbish. Want the sample images left in? again, say so and I'll leave them.
Other:
Whatever else you'd like. Can be tweaks, changes to the OS or whatever. I can also include your chosen radio OS, or splashscreen if wanted.
Preferred Upload Host:
I'll upload it wherever you want, and drop you a PM when it's done.
I'll probably have the apps you want already. If not, I may need a cab file to add what you want.
I'm going to do this for free, but donations are welcome (there's a link in my signature)

That shouldn't be too difficult, bar the fact the the sprint Diamond is CDMA, so I won't be able to test it directly to make sure it all works. I can probably test all the parts on my GSM Diamond, but I may need to get you to test things once or twice.

Again, that shouldn't be to hard. One thing though, what kind of battery icon? One that replaces the little 4 bar one in the title bar, or one that provides the bar across the top of the screen?

Cdma Diamond Rom
Can I get a rom based on the latest leaked sprint rom wwe 2.00.651.1 and give the latest but best radio with the whole diamond2 tf3d tricked and tweaked out on low memory can I get that?
As stable and fast as you can get it

not so much a rom, but mainly just a cab to install the '3' tab into the tf3d from the pro (or whatever one they are using) if it's possible?

What about another of your own great roms but put all cabs for apps you usually include into a folder so that we may install what we like. Do the same for tf3d, tweaks etc. I mean in a folder within the ROM itself.

like the sound of this, but worried that M2D will eat too much ram like the V40 WM6.5 rom.
After using Dheewaras last WM6.5 i'm starting to like the new Titanium so probably wont want to use the manilla....rather have the 20Mb RAM back
can anyone report the usual info...

what version of IE
what version of CAMERA
does it have the new titanium and lock?
( newer versions of titanium you can drag either the background OR the selector bar up and down...older versions you could only drag the background
also newer versions of lock you have other notifications sliders for unread txt's, emails etc, older ones you only had the one unlock slider with no notifications )

I try it and for me there isn't more speed than the last of P'Dhee (21198)
- CAm v 4.03 (27076)
- Ram with Tflo = 14-15 Mb and Titanium= 20 Mb
- Start menu have bigger icone ?
- Lock bar is on top now
- Music play with titanium don't stop when screen is turned off ( i appreciate )
But missing some application like Oxios memory or Gfinger.
The dialer have no skin and keyboard too.
About IE i don't know...
In resume, i don't know if i back to old version (21198)...

well, as before for me:
this wm6.5 -stuff is slowing my gadget down far too much!
in addition this finger-scrolling iphone imitation doesnt work on p3300 - either stick with an iphone or forget about wanting this for p3300!
if you want speed- use yue extraclean,
if you want a decent mixture between speed and "uptodatedness" use (Build 21042.1.6.1) SYS XIP full ported (02-04-09) by PDhee in lite version

You can usually change this in SETTINGS ... look for KEY LOCK... in the last DHEE rom it was in START - SETTINGS - SYSTEM
IMHO :
The slowness on previous roms seems to be mostly M2D
i've not had ANY speed issues of DHEE's last 21198 rom just using titanium, but you're right...so far it seems forget M2D on 6.5 for an Artemis device. M2D takes up too much RAM and NOTHING can run properly once it's installed.
Titanium is starting to look nice now, and behaves well once you're used to it.
Hopefully some newer roms will have the facility to auto-lock the device on standby too....without having to set a PIN

Titanium Weather
The Titatnium today does not have the Titanium Weather display. Checked from Titanium Configurator that both the Test UI Plugin and Clink are enabled still it does not appear on the Titanium Today. Seems like the cmhome.dll does not have these plugin.
Any idea how to fix this or can some extract the cmhome.dll from 21198 and post it here.

[22/09/09] Amazing ROM from DJKoa :) Fast Hybrid 23047-23016! With expansion CAB ;)

Hi boys and girls Again a ROM from me...this time for Artemis (my brother's mobile)
My efford was: to do the fastest and stable ROM with all working things we use daily. And of course, beautiful and organized.
So here is the deal: with 64Mb, I try to minimize the kitchen taking out all images for landscape, etc. And I added a expansion cab with software that can run from SD.
ROM details:
- SYS 23016 (20% are from 23009 to correct SMS and wifi bug)
- XIP 23047 (i will cook one with 23601 ... but i need mobile back to test )
- 50Mb / 25Mb
- M2D (latest build with special adds)
- New comm (2.9.5.0) working (only wifi icon can't update...but works fine)
- CS Phone,CS Band, CS Call, etc.
- CS SMS
- Startup Wizard (fully working: contacts + communication setup)
- Audiomanager, WMP (with skin), BT Audio, etc
- New dialer + CS Contacts
...
- No LHZ rom (Rom not compressed...so fastest)
Try and u will see
Expansion cab:
- Adobe, M2DC, Music ID, etc, etc.

the hard work u put in Design is not to overlook
realy impressive
but...
-not as fingerfriendly as the new wm6.5 builds with
startmenu at the bottom
-i dont like M2D anymore cause its ram consumption is too big
-and almost 12 MB RAM after SR is not enough
all in all a nice ROM except of its problems with RAM
with a newer buil of WM6.5 it would be much better i think
but m2d won't get together with the startmenubutton at the bottom so i understand why u have chosen the older one

I have installed this rom and run into lot of problems.
1:Memory available is very less , even after disabling the today screen plugin
2:Mails get configured but dosent open any mail when clicked on it and need to close outlook by invoking taskmanager.(tried flashing the rom 2 times for all issue)
3: when i go to messages and go to To option , as i type the names the contact list is not displayed and i have to always click on To option select single contact everytime (EX. if i have to send to 5 people Text message then i need to click on To five different times select each contact.) what i mean is Contacts is not integrated in messages.
4:The harware buttons like for camera , internet explore say shortcut missing , even if i go and personalise going into settings only one button setting get saved.
5: Wifi is not working
6:Lot of basic application missing in rom.
7:Fonts size is very small
8: Touch Keyboard cant be disabled , it invokes everytime even if i change it in settings.
9: The fix for Edge Icon is missing in the main screen.
Please note i have just given my feedback on the rom so that you can fix these and build a very nice rom , incase any of my statements have hurted your feelings then i sincerly Apologize for the same.
