Hello everyone. I flashed the Fresh ROM, how do I disable landscape mode when im on my homescreen?
Sent from my HTC Evo 4G using XDA app.
check fresh updater....under themes or tweaks. should be a "disable rosie rotate" patch in the drop-down
Thanks.
Edit: when i load the update to disable rosie rotate, how long is it supposed to stay in "copying files"?? Its giving me the option on top of the screen to reboot etc...

I never get a "complete" or "finished" notification....but if the option to reboot appears then I assume it is complete and I click it and I haven't had any problems when flashing other tweaks this way

Hey all
I got a bit of a problem. I recently upgraded to 2.29 and rooted again. Now when i launch the settings app after reboot, it works.
But when i close it and try to open it again it just doesnt show and throws me back to my home screen.
Any ideas about what could be the problem?
Using DATA2SD btw, also killing Settings app has no effect + hot reboot has no effect. Only full reboot fixes it temporarly
TY

I'm not familiar with this problem, but can you explain how you updated it? Have you done it correctly I mean.
it seems not to be a problem with the ROM, titanium backup is restoring an app or setting that seems to be causing it.
EDIT: Theft Aware was the problem
Just flashed the new Omgb rom. Realized there is no connect to PC option and when I plug it in to my computer I get no connection type options. Has anyone else running this ROM encountered this problem? Is there a solution?

If you pull down your notification window, it should say "charge only"...click on that and it should reload you into your mount options
Swyped from my Raided Evo
Haha I know how to change in the notification bar. the problem is when I pull it down there is no charge only display in the bar

how ever you should have a notification says connected to usb, click on that one,it should take you to a screen to select disk
Ha I'm an idiot, I forgot I flashed a custom notification bar which didnt work right with this ROM. Wiped and reflashed and it works now

As the title says when I'm in my text app or app drawer, anything I get that screen and sense reloads. How do I make it stop? It's driving me nuts! I'm also on MikG v2.5.
Thanks

Have you wiped cach and dalvic?
Thats where I'd start.
Tried that didn't work.
Check settings in Spare parts. I think it is labeled activity process managment. Set it to normal, not aggressive.

Hey thanks. I did that earlier and it worked. I always set it to aggressive on my epic so I figuredi could get away with it on the evo.
I would use the v6 supercharger script. That should take care of the reload problem. Plus running apps2sd in a partitioned setup should help.

Yea when I was having this problem real bad I tried the setting in spare parts, only worked for about 2 days. The fix that finally worked for good was running the V6 supercharger script and setting the launcher "hard to kill". Now I haven't had a sense reload in over two weeks.
Hi everyone. I've recently installed a status bar for my HTC Wildfire. But when I tied to connect my phone to my pc via USB connection, in the notifications area stands: "No permissions required"
When I click on it, the status bar force closes. So I reverted my status bar back to the original one; same problem....
I'm running CM7 Nightly
Please help
Need more information, where did you get the status bar?
Is it just a systemui.apk?

I got it HERE
I managed to get a screenshot by using Software Data Cable. It uses my wifi to connect to my phone, but it's slow. Need to get this USB problem fixed...
See the attachment for the screenshot.
Yeh that's my zip, it does actually state in the op that the status bar will fc with the icon switch, I'm still a noob.... lol and haven't got round to fixing it yet.
If you flash the undo.zip it should return your original statusbar back? What number nightly are you on?
Another workaround for it is to install a 3rd party app such as widgetsoid and use that to switch on disk mode.
Or just flash the transparent_centre_clock which will just centre the clock it wont switch the icons so it shouldn't fc then.

Ok thanks man. But not a bad status bar, it looks great. I got a app called Multi Mount SD-Card Lite that works. So basicly, problem fixed.
Oh and I'm running CyanogenMod7-NIGHTLY-237

That might explain why the undo zip didn't work, the icon switch was built on nightly 177 so a long time ago, I'm now on 235 so might have another crack at it see if I can fix it soon.

Every time I reboot my Glide, the phone automatically goes to LauncherPro (good!). However, when I tap the home key (even if I am focused on LPP), I get prompted to change the default launcher. Every time, I tap the checkbox for default, and select LPP. All is well, until I reboot my phone, and the whole process starts over again. Any suggestions?
There should be a lil box asking if u wanna keep said launcher as default...

As I said above, I always click the default launcher checkbox. And on every reboot, it is unset.
Have you tried freezing the offending launcher? If you don't even use it. Then you could even delete the launcher? Problem solved. why keep two launchers in the first place...

I am on an unrooted stock ICS rom, and freezing TwLauncher is disabled (button greyed) through the settings/applications/all menu.
That's your problem. A solution for stock may be a lot harder to come by. The stock launcher will always try to resurface like that. It also still uses its resources.

Is that new to the ICS update? This never happened under the last two versions of GB for the Glide...
