Hi guys.
I am looking to see just how good the GPU is on the galaxy s.
Neocore runs at around 55 fps and I was wondering if anyone knew a more graphical demo out there to try?

I know that Parachute Panic does 60fps since the mango update, but I can't find anything else which does 60fps. Anyone know of any?

Several games have been updated so far. Hydro Thunder GO does support 60 FPS if I remember correctly.

I don't think it does - the performance has just been improved.
Broken Wing and Chicken Story are 60fps IIRC.

I just did some research and it turns out you're right. No 60 FPS for Hydro Thunder GO. They improved performance by 10%-20% though.

On my omnia 7, broken wing and chicken story definitely don't look 60fps.

after broke wing upgrade, its obviously feeling better on my omnia7, you can compare with doodle jump,than you will feel broken wing is 60fps

I'm going to sell my Galaxy Note now, which had a good 3D performance, but it's way too big for me. Now going to buy a S2 or the Nexus, but my decision depends also a bit on the GPU.
So, sadly the Nexus the nexus has only a PowerVR540, which is compared to the mali400 much less powerful - on the paper.
Is it really that bad with the actual software? What framerate is GTA III for example working on full details? Please give me some experiences from games you played!
The Mali 400 is overrated, because of a single Anandtech review using some "benchmark tool".
First, the GN has 2.4 times more pixels than the GS2. This makes a difference for games that don't implement resolution scaling. They will require more performance from the GN's GPU.
For example, AirAttack HD runs between 30 and 60 fps on the GN, but it runs at a constant 60 fps on the GS2.
Another example: Riptide GP both run at the same speed if I scale the resolution down a few notches on the GN.
And finally, some games run at the same speed on both, no matter what. For example Wind-up Knight, TurboFly 3D, Shogun, Reckless Racing, My Paper plane 3, Modern Combat 2.
In any case, the GN's GPU is not weak. It was labeled as such because it's the same GPU as the Nexus S but it runs at a higher frequency and has a much faster memory interface, which does make a difference.

Isn't there better GPU Drivers for your device? My i9001 has Samsung Galaxy W Drivers and fps increased nicely
just get the iphone 4s. problem solved.
gta3 is no problem for the nexus.

Hi Guys am about to drop my older device Galaxy S2 and consider buying a brand new LG G3
but am a bit worry about the performance in real life because of the big screen and the 2K resolution and the heavy software skin
i watch several youtube videos but none of them give me a good idea about the performance
so can you plz help me is there lot of lags that lead to a bad experience or it's just from time to time
i also want to know about gaming is the experience smooth or not

On latest firmwares - from time to time
Heavy 3d games - like, Real Racing 3 or GTA san andreas - are unplayable.
P.S. I still use my old s3 from time to time

Well, not "unplayable" in usual sense. Thing is, this phone tends to overheat and slow down, and that causes FPS in GTA:SA and RR3 to drop to 20 or so -> which is far from smooth, but still playable.
And yeah, 2k resoltion is a bit too much for 330.

Hi, I'm wondering what other note 10+ players are using for their resolution settings for Pubg Mobile. I've been messing around with it and cant seem to figure out if a higher resolution improves visibility, or if I'm better off with a low res...I am running it on smooth/60fps regardless of the resolution.
I'm not new to the game, just new to the phone...any advice would be appreciated!

I've tried few games like Real Racing 3 and Shadow Legends which both ran on 120fps on ROG Phone 2, but they only show 60fps on S20 Ultra. so was wondering what games supports S20 Ultra 120hz display.
I believe Asphalt 9 does. How do you check at what refresh rate the game will play at?

Lol been asking everyone to test this.
Not sure if they have a 120 fps mode but would be nice to see if it actually runs games.
If it does then anything on the play store will be a breeze

Really? Will check it out. There's a Mali optimized version.
The windwaker on GameCube ran perfect on the oneplus 5, perfect when I removed the page file on the P20 Pro and added performance mode via magisk (utterly unplayable without those tweaks)
Literally no settings would allow the pro to run those games..
If the 77 can run GameCube games and perhaps Wii then I'll be impressed.
I know the 865 is something special and this is Samsung's last chip is making, just hope they optimize it, for £1400 it should be able to run anything.
I think I'm going to find it's bottleneck, my money's on the GPU.

Yea thats the SD mate I knew it would work perfectly on that, i'm just curious about the Exynos, it's been way behind in the past, hoping this year it'll be up to scratch, for the price it certainly should be.

Mine seems to fade in and out. Game looks amazing then it fizzles out and looks worse than my S20+
World Of Tanks Blitz is one of my favorites.
Call of duty Mobile and I think PUBG and Fortune too.
