htc dialer sometimes not working - Touch Pro2, Tilt 2 Windows Mobile General

hi there,
so, as said in the title, sometime when I try to make a call, pressing the lower left key (I guess it's called "dialer button"), the htc dialer does not show up. I will need to enter some other contact application to show up those and make a call. afterwards, it's working again.
anyone else with this kind of problem?
cheers,
abprie

Telephone Problem

Hello all,
I encounter since today a new problem on my Qtek9090.
The problem: When I place or receive a call, and want to hang up by pressing the red button, the application is closing, but not hanging up.
The only thing i have modded was adding the contacts button in the "phone" application.
can anyone help ?
Thnx in advance
Bram
Ive got the same problem...aloso right after installing the contacts button.....maybe mamiach missed something???

i-mate PDA2k Phone hangs when Password is enabled.

Hello
I was hoping that someone could point me in the right direction.
I have enabled the simle 4 digit password on my BA.
On an incoming call the screen becomes available to allow me to answer or reject the call. Normally when I press 'Answer' I can take the call. Then the password prompt will be on the screen.
The problem is that about every second or third call the password challenge won't show up, but the phone application is shown. There is no exit button in the top right corner, I can't make calls, I cant switch it off. The only thing i can do is that I can receive further calls.
The only way to get out of this is by soft-reset.
This happened with the original ROM. So I upgraded to 1.40 in the hope that this would fix it, but it didn't.
I have searched a number of forums to see whether other people have similar problems, but couldn't find anything.
My PDA2k is stock standard, with the only addition being Adobe's PDF reader.
I would appreciate any suggestions to solve this problem (apart from not using a Password challenge), as I'm sick to death of having to reset the device.
Thanks in advance.

You've written the solution for your problem. If you never use slide2unlock just uninstall it. That's causing your problem...
Problem solved, thanks.
I now have a similar problem, but it started after i uninstalled slide to unlock ..
with S2U i used fullscreen callerID ( built in the program - i used version 1.0 )
when someone calls, my phone rings but stays at the password ( numeric ) screen.
is there a registry key to fix this
??

Confirmation before making a new call

Hi all,
I wanted to ask you if there is any way to get some kind of confirmation before making a new phone call. It happens to me quite often that I tap accidentally on contact in HTC phone dialer (or sometimes it does the same when my PDA wakes up in my pocket) and it will start to dial the number immediately. I like the way how original MS dialer is doing it - it will at least display a window with contact information where you can select between different phone numbers. I know how to change the phone skin to MS dialer, but when using MS dialer sking you are not able to adjust phone volume when call is established.
Do you have any tips and trick how to avoid accidental calls?
Thx!
Why don't you just keep your handset locked?
Long press of call end key

Call History

Can anyone tell me if they have encountered this problem. Deleting a call in the call history, you select the caller icon on the right hand side of the screen, and you select delete, then delete all calls from this contact. Then for some reasons the touch flo resets and it brings you back to a home screen. I have done a hard reset and downloaded the latest rom, but it has made no difference. Problem does not happen all the time, but it is annoying. can anyone help?
it seem every one of us have his own annoying problem
i didnt have this problem of urs
but i have another one .. some times in the history it have the number under unknown called while when i received it it was under the right name
also i dont like that there is no colour differentiation between mis calls and incoming and outgoing for fast recognition by the 1st glims
