HTC G-sensor lists.cab - Touch Pro2, Tilt 2 Windows Mobile General

I installed this tweak and it did what it said it would, but I need to add more apps to the "whitelist." Is there an actual file that can be edited to do this, and if so, where is it and what is it called? If all this cab does is modify the registry, what keys did it modify?

extract the cab file and use a notepad like editor to open up the files from the cab - there u can see what it edits in the registry (as i remember there is existing some keys in the registry for what you want - dont ask me where - i cannot remember anymore)

Yeah, I just downloaded WinCE Cab Manager and used it for something similar. Thanks.

here is my list i always use... i got it off xda somewhere and added a few things.

CAB reg file extractor..

Hey!
Was wondering if there is any program that can do this ? Extract the registery entries from a cab file to a .reg file.. I know that WinCE Cab manager can do this, but the feature is disabled in the demo and the full version costs 99 dollars!
Isn't there any free program ?
Open the cab file with 7-zip or some other zip file manager. The registry settings are usually in the .xml file.
Rename the cab to a rar, or just use winrar. There are also free proper extractors, but I can't remember the names!

well, you always can install program that reg you want to get, then just copy its registry as normal catalogs/files with totalcommander on ppc, then edit on pc..it is nice way of making preconfigured oempacks.

Hi, how to change TFLO 3D icons by myself?

Any software provide this function and it is able to create a CAB file to let me share with others?
thx =]
You should get the m9editor, find the manila files containing the icons you want to change, change them and if you want to make a cab, use some kind of cab manager or you could simply copy them in the windows folder (not with the standard file explorer - use total commander or something like that) and then restart TF3D. If you have done everything right, you should have the new icons displayed, if not - simply delete the manila files you have changed and softreset - this should restore them if you have not made backup of the original file.
oh, thx for your reply >3<
but m9 doesn't work on my pc T_T
i am using windows xp, china-hong kong version T_T
moreover, what software can create cab file?

Strange... I also use XP (not the china version) and it works for me... maybe you should ask for support the creator of the editor. As for the CAB files - I personally use 'WinCE CAB Manager' but I think there are a number of other managers, just google them and find out which is best suited for you.

TF3D config and .theme files question

This post has 2 questions.
Intro: I have a HTC HD flashed with Dutty's 3.7 XT ROM MSVC. I have used HD tweak as the tweak tool.(I am not sure this is relevant).
1) I downloaded Diamond tf3d config and installed it. I tried running it and get an error as soon as it starts. I tried the standard fixes including deleting the tweaks file as well as ensuring the "PressureThreshold" key is a DWORD. It makes no change, the program still gives an error. Could anyone suggest a fix.
2) I want to use tf3d config only for installation of .theme files. Is there an alternate app to do this? Also I know that i can just extract the .theme file as a zip file into the windows folder and restart touchflo for changes. However how do I remove the theme? I read somewhere that I can just delete the replaced files and the original files will be self re-generated. Is this true?
Please respond.
I Dont Believe That Diamond TF3D Config Functions Properly With New Manila Someone Feel Free To Correct Me If I Am Wrong
Well, now that you mention it I remember that tf3d config worked for the stock rom which has old manilla, and doesn't work with dutty's rom with new manilla which I am now using.
So if I cant use tf3d config does anyone know an alternate way of installing .theme files other than tf3d config.
Yeah I'm interested in alternative ways to install themes aswell, can't get TF3D Config to work at all
Yeah, I finally found out that tf3dconfig does not work with the new manilla. to install the theme, change the file extension of the theme file to zip, extract and replace the contents in the windows folder. Am not too sure how to uninstall.
All this information was found after 4 days of searches in xda. the search function on the site does seem to be strange as I ended up with the relevant result on the last page.

Nice App Work with it right Now it's really nice
Thanks
Hi AnDim,
Nice tool to use in combination with the htcRIE tool. Thank you for that! Anyway you could make it possible to import reg- or rgu-files? That would make this even better!
Cheers,

Support .rgu files
Very nice utility, thank you for this.
I am using it on Windows 7 and one thing I did notice is that when browsing for a file to open it did not show any of the .rgu files. I had to go to the Files and Folders options on my computer and uncheck the option to Hide Protected Operating System Files. Using Ervius Visual Kitchen, I do not have to do this so maybe there is a option somewhere that can be set in the code to show all of the files? Would be great to include this as an option somehow.
Thanks for the new relase
Whats up with some keys being in red color?
And what does the program do when inside the file exist two value names with the same value data in the same key?
It keeps the last one?
Like this:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Sounds\VTCallWaiting]
"Category"="InCall"
"Category"="Ring"
Thanks.
Edited...
It seems that the keys in red are the keys that will be deleted.
And the last one is kept.
Could you add an option to ask the user which value to keep?
I'm not getting how to use this. How do I connect to my device? I assumed I had to find the default or user.hv files, but I cannot find them.

Copy them to your desktop (out of \windows).
When should we expect a newer version? Any thoughts on my suggestion on my previous post?
Please add import rgu option it would be very useful anyway thanks for this great app
thank you .............
Hello,
This tool is fantastic. It's the only program that allowed me to change my .hv files without problems (I tried CeRegEditor and manual RGUcomp but all these methods failed in my case).
The only thing I miss is the possibility to import data from rgu/reg or even txt. Pleeeease

Import Registry pb ? morstcript

Hi all
i like to play with morstcript to personnalize my Rhodium..
to import the lnk of my manila (i use maxmanil with 20 lnk), i use that :
RunWait( "FS_TaskMgr.exe", "\App\Rom\Perso\Kwanice_Manila.reg" )
i add that to be sure there is no pb with htc sense
RegWriteDWord("HKLM","Software\Microsoft\Today\Items\HTC Sense", "Enabled","0")
RedrawToday
and
RegWriteDWord("HKLM","Software\Microsoft\Today\Items\HTC Sense", "Enabled","1")
RedrawToday
but i have always problem.. the shortcut on the home tab are not good...sometime yes sometime no..
can you explain why?
(if i use a .cab with only the registry value, it seems to work fine...)???
thanks for your help
no idea?
When you want to import .reg? you use mortscript? or a .cab file?
Or .xml files?
Since you're relying on a third party app to actually import the reg file maybe the problem isn't Mortscript but the app your script calls. You could always try another registry editor to import the file.
Also I think this can be done using Mortscript alone (with no 3rd party apps). You could try to make a registry import script using just Mortscript (a combination of If, ReadFile/ReadLine, ForEach, Split/Part/Replace, RegWrite and a couple of tricks should do it). reg files are actually text files so if needed you could always change the file it to make it easier for Mortscript to import.

yes good idea
but i have a lot of registry... it's easier to import reg if not i need to write all .reg line one by one...little boring..
or maybe there is another way to do that more simple? (i'm not an expert with mortscript^^)
but thanks for your help
You wouldn't write each registry entry. A script can be done to do all that work: read the reg file, parse each line (root, key/subkey, name/value, type), convert the text to Mortscript syntax and write it to the registry. But it would be a somewhat complex script and would take more time to write than writing 20 reg keys...
