The goal of this thread is to have gather and create a apns list that are missing from many users using XDANDROID.
I'm setting this thread up for people who have missing APN. You can view and quickly add your APN if needed.
I've always found that its a hassle and annoying when you boot Android and don't automatically get data.
WinMo actually downloaded those for you upon initial boot which was a great feature in my opinion.
I'll set up the format you need to post it in so that i can easily copy and paste them into apns.xml which will go into future builds of XDANDROID.
For now it would look like this:
Rename
One 2 One Person" should be "Tmobile-UK"
"Orange PCS Ltd" should be "Orange-UK"
"Vodafone Ltd" should be "Vodafone-UK"
"BTCellnet" should be "O2-UK"
Ben Netherlands=T-mobile NL
vodafone libertel=vodafone NL

figured i could use this thread as a test for some thing.
as any cdma user knows sprint and xdandroid have been having issues with mms. i have figured out how to send mms on xdandroid but not receive.
the default mnc (995) and mcc (310) is a general rule for cdma. it is questioned if cdma even really uses both.
while trying to figure this stuff out i noticed that the hero and moment use different settings: mnc (120) and mcc (310).
while i have tried to edit the apnconfig myself a few different times i could never get these settings to stick.
if you don't mind throwing these in as a sprint specific apn so i can test it out
<apn carrier="CDMA" mcc="310" mnc="120" apn="" port="" mmsproxy="" mmsport="" mmsc="http://mms.sprintpcs.com" type="mms"/>

First of all, great initiative Babijoee!
The APN settings for the swedish provider "Telenor" is outdated and needs to be changed to the settings provided below. I tried combining them both on eclair but couldn't get mms working with those settings. Which is why they are provided as two separate apns.

I updated to 2.2 yesterday and since then noticed that I no longer get a data connection. I know of someone else who has the same experience (also on the 3 network with an unbranded phone). Has anyone else experienced this or know of a solution?
Yes I had the same with an unbranded phone on three.
Seems the APN Setting disappeared!

Hi, I recently unlocked my Incredible 2 and I'm in India. It seems that the new SIM card allows me to make voice calls fine, but I can't seem to get 3G data even after signing up for the plan here etc. It shows Airtel (service provider) in the networks list and is active, but I still cannot get it to connect. Any ideas?
Have you confirmed your APN is entered correctly?
