Found many problems, Bluetooth is always just go away, and can not start; message issued unable to pronounce a few on the go, basically the factory of a few hours before, it is depressing.
With the official upgrade software update system, 10c to 10d, blue bud issue is resolved, SMS can only send a few, is the factory of a few hours, increasing MMS unable to pronounce to the problem (settings are no problem, because for the first time successful, go back unable to pronounce).
10g lg download in the U.S. system, a smooth upgrade, all English, all of the above issues are resolved, and fairly stable.
New problem: installed ce-star, or various versions of the font character have tried, have no problem receiving text messages sent, txt Chinese show no problem, but not show up in Chinese phone book, caller names are also mouth try an online description of the many ways has been ineffective.

Do you mean you have a GW825V Chinese ROM and it Runs in an English ROM?
How did you do that? What ROM did you flashed?
Have you tried this?
My English WinMo devices can display and enter Chinese after installing the package from this site. Try searching for 小熊工作室. Studiokuma dot com

I've installed bepe's WWE WM6 ROM for a while now. I'm have a lot of troubles with the pre-installed live messenger. I can't change my name, can't change screen image, the program freezes when i try to log in, online users are shown as offline, my email doesn't arrive (with push email), in short: looks like a crappy program to me. But i don't hear much complaints in the forum here. Are some of you experiencing this problems also with B&B ROM?
Btw: i've tried all basic advices: turning shared screen-image in the desktop messenger, clearing the password, switching users...no results...

Some people seem to suggest this comes from an incompatibility issue between the thumbnail (user image) format on Windows and Windows Mobile. I'm however not so sure about this. I've bumbed into this issue several times and the only way to work around is by switching 'accounts' and just logging in to the same account again after picking this option.
The problem happens on all WM6 ROMs I tried so don't even bother trying different versions, unless perhaps an official WWE ROM is released.

i seem to have found a solution
I have a dutch version of Live Messenger installed on my computer, (because i come from holland ), so i can't give you the exact option names. But i'll try to explain:
In Live Messenger (on your desktop) there are two options:
- showing screen image to other users (your msn contacts)
- keeping screen image and personal message always the same, wherever you login
the last option seems to do the trick: put it OFF on your desktop Messenger. Now i can sync, change nickname, screen image, personal message and see all online users on my P3300!

CRAP! Yesterday no troubles, now i'm not able to see any online users this program is driving me mad! I ll wait for a newer version before wasting any time on it...good job microsoft
i have tried several versions of Messenger, none of which work properly. looked though other forums, none had an answer, that i could see. i have been using Shapesoft IM+, it works, but nowhere near as nice as Messenger used too.
I hope the new HTC ROM will bring the solution...

been having is irritating problem of having my phone calls in the phone log and my smses Time stamped wrongly to 11 hours in the future, at least that's what it appears to me.
ie if I get an sms at 8am it will show as 7pm.
But once I soft reset my phone, the phone calls/ sms after the reset will be time stamped correctly! for a couple of hours and then it will go wonky again and have to soft reset.
have tried it with CRCs r11.2 and some other cooked roms with no software installed but what the rom came with always the 'lite' roms with minimal apps.
am currently flashing an original Cingular 3.62 rom to see if it rectifies my problem.
I've tried searching but couldn't find anything
would appreciate any thoughts you guys may have on my problem.

try disabling the auto time update feature under phone settings, and see if it helps!
You have your timezone set wrong....
my time zone is set to Mumbai, India which is correct

I bought an LG GM750 operating WM6.5 Professional. I installed updated SPB shell, Time & Weather and Resco Audio as I had been using these on my WM5. I found that the Resco Audio did not perform properly and removed it. Subsequenty I also noticed that all my incoming messages time were about 13 hours ahead. System time, call times etc are all okay. I have been through the regional set up, 3rd party software etc and everything looks okay. I have already tried to remove all 3rd party softwares and reboot my device to factory set up many times but still have the corrupted time without 3rd party software.
I would appreaciate help in this area

thanks for the reply. No wasn't server related as I verified it texting side by side with someone using the same provider (Vodafone). All outgoing texts were okay. His messages from me were with the correct time stamp but only his messages to me were marked with the 13 hours difference in time on my device.

You need to add this to the registry: Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\OEM\PhoneSetting\
Add a dword key "TrustTimeZoneField" and give it a dword value of 0

Hi, hoping for some help again, anyone know how to change the phone number formatting to English not American. IE display 07777777777 not 077-777-777. I have changed the locale within languages to English (United Kingdom), downloaded MoreLocale 2 from the market place which reading on here other Android phones have had to use to fix, still no joy...
It causing me issues as I need to send contacts to my bluetooth car kit and sending them in the American format means I get them on the car kit in American and it fails to dial out as it only dials the first 3 numbers. I am certain if I can get the phone formatting correctly this with fix my issue.

Fixed it, I had to delete all contacts, readd Exchange and resetup Facebook in Sense. If I unlinked contacts from Facebook the contact returned to UK formatting. So I went thru the motions and one of the above worked
Sorry spamming my thread but this was also the issue with SMS's not working. For some reason with the american format they wouldnt send to those contacts with the issue, some of my contacts setup as +44******** worked fine. So any of you have this issue I hope you find these posts.

my LG G3 on android 5.0 contact list is being updated very frequently, each time i try to access the contacts, the dialer or the call logs, i get a loader with the message "Contact list is being updated to reflect the change of language" that lasts for up to an hour each time, and more than once a day, so it's becoming very frustrating.
it is even affecting, when it happens, all applications that are related in any way to the contacts like whatsapp, messaging, etc...
i searched a lot for a solution on many sites and forums, but i either got no answer at all, or the answer was not even close to solve the issue, so i hope i get a real & final solution from here cause this issue is killing my battery and overheating the phone when it happens, and making it useless as no phone calls or messages can be made at that time.
so please HELP
note: my phone is rooted in case this can make the solution easier
