HTC Clock, 2 locations not working? - Desire Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I'm trying to get that clock working where you have 2 different timezones, but it is just showing Central Europe and I can't seem to add another timezone, just citities.

No one knows?

The label can only be cities; not timezones. That is, it'll say "New York" rather than "Eastern Time".
So, just pick a city that's in the timezone that you want displayed...
Detailed instructions:
Open the Clock application
Swipe to the "World Clock" tab
Press "Menu" key
Tap "Home settings"
Search for and select the city.
Your other clock's time and location will depend on where you are at the moment.

Clock on "Programs" Header

I noticed that I tend to use the "Programs" page instead of the "Home" page. Is there a way to have the clock displayed on the header of the Programs page? I don't want to turn off TouchFlo3D. Thank you for your time.

change meteo city in calendar tab

Hi,
I have TF3D 2.1 on my TP2.
Despite the fact there is only one city in the meteo tab, I have the meteo of an other city at the bottom of the calendar tab.
Does someone knows how to change it????
Thanks in advance
Alain
Any idea?
Was the question unclear ?
The weather on the calendar tab is the weather that for the city that is set as your home city in the World Clock.
Go to you Home screen, tap the clock, and then select one of the listed cities there, or tap Add City, and make sure that the small bubble to the left of the city name is selected for your home city.
This screenshot is off of a Sprint TP2. This is the World Clock Screen with "Brockway" Selected as my home city.
Wow, so simple...
Thank you so much. I will try immediately.
Best regards
Alain

Change weather city home tab

I would like to change the city weather on my home tab.
Let me explain... On the weather tab, always the first city is the location I am now at. Only the 2nd, 3rd etc. city can be set manually. But I would like to show the weather of the 2nd city on my weather tab on the home tab (just under the time on the home tab).
Or is there a way to set the first city on the weather tab to a specific location. (not the location I am now at).
I want to do this because I've turned of the GPS, but would still like to show the weather of a specific city on my home tab (I manually update the weather now and then).

If you tap your clock in the homescreen you will be able to choose a location that stays. My location didn't work for me so I practically had to do the same your asking to make it work. Took me some time to figure it out as well!!
lol very big lol
it's that simple... I was already searching the registry......
while searching the registry, i found the folowwing key
HKCU/software/htc/manila/Weather.Enable CurrentLocation
when you set it to 0, the MyLocation page on the weather tab is hidden.
set it back to 1 if you want the first page / city back in the weather tab.

I have a question about adw launcher

There is a shortcut for the home screen. It look like a little house, as I can see it in the icon pack, but where is the actual shortcut to put on my home page? I have looked everywhere in the settings and can't find it. Can someone point me on the right direction please?

OK, so I think you're asking about an icon to take you to your homescreen... Correct?
If so, you long press on a blank spot on a homescreen, select launcher actions, move to default desktop. It won't have the little house icon, but it will do the job.
After you do what jtcarnes says, longpress the new icon, select edit, touch the current image, select ADWThem IconPacks, and the select the house/homeplate icone with the android in it.

[Q] How to configure once OnTop action is defined?

I have a widget (that was originally defined by another developer).
The menu on Long Press on this widget does not have an Edit option. But a Short Press gets me into the config pages and I can edit layout, etc… UNTIL I set a Widget OnTap Action. Once defined, of course, short pressing on the widget executes the OnTap Action, and I seemingly have no way to get back to the config pages.
Am I missing something? a) why is this particular widget lacking the “Edit” option in the Long Press menu, and b) without the edit menu, how can I enter config if I’m defined another OnTap Action?

Click to collapse
Open Zooper from your app drawer, then select "Configure Widgets". You are presented with a list of widgets you currently have active (naming them helps a lot here!). Select one and you will get the widget edit screen for that widget.
