[SOLVED] Help. What is this icon in my notification tray? - EVO 4G Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Can anyone tell me what this bullseye icon is (red arrow pointing to it)? It's bugging me and I want to turn it off. Just started sometime in the last hour. Tried uninstalling a few apps I recently installed, but no change.

[SOLVED] What is this icon in my notification tray>
Posted this at ppcgeeks too and they told me its a GPS icon from a custom ROM. When the GPS is turned off, it shows like that so you know it's off. When you turn it on, it shows the normal crosshairs GPS icon.
I just flashed to Calkulin's ROM last night and hadn't noticed it since my GPS had been enabled up until recently.
EDIT: I also had a few requests at ppcgeeks about what a few of my widgets or apps are. Below are the responses I gave in case anyone here has the same question(s).
That's the Gmail Unread Count Widget (Free) - LINK
Battery is Battery Indicator Pro ($.99) - LINK
I am not running Sense, but instead the latest ADW. I have the weather toggle widget for the clock and weather using an HTC skin. Works in landscape too.

It's the sniper detector. I'd move away from any windows. If outside, take cover.

A few questions about color and icons

I currently running ROM:vp3G 3.60.2 full with some addons. I have a few questions though when running the HTcustom 1.8 and setting the clock display under UI to nothing I end up with this:
{

"lightbox_next": "Next",

}
if you notice the sound icon is gone and the signal strength is cut in half, also if you look closely the color of the small lines just under HTC home are blue, is there any way i can change these to a transparent gray color like on the HTC home bar? Thanks for any help
I think its the same way in all the ROM's i had wondering too, if that is possible to have a transparent thing up there!
well it seems as though the icon problem has nothing to do with HTcustom, I uninstalled it and still have that problem, as for the color I wasnt able to make it transparent, but I did find a nice .tsk at pocketpcaddict forums, it was called windows mobile black vista theme. its pretty nice. It may even be here as well im not sure, if not here is the link to that forum http://www.pocketpcaddict.com/forums/file498.html , and if anyone wants that alienhead background let me know il upload it
For the Today lines you can use ThemeGenCe described here and make them any color you want. I remember reading about the issue with the clock in the top bar, but last time I checked there wasn't a solution. You either had to put the battery meter or the clock. Hope this helps.
Is that an issue with the rom itself? As I posted earlier, I've uninstalled HTcustom and still have the same problem. I do notice though, that I can make it appear when I slide the LCD and make it change orientation, open a program, and as the program is running slide it back closed, the sound will appear. I've done this consistently, but as soon as you put the device in standby and turn back on, or softboot, the problem comes back. Hope that helps in troubleshooting the issue.

Camera Flash On

is there an app for the G2 that allows me to turn the camera flash on/off?
If your asking for like a flashlight app. Download LED Light from the market. It's an actual widget also. Hope this helps..
- Fly like a G2
I use the Power Control Plus widget (and program one button to the flash....)
If the jpg attachment worked, it is the large lightning button on top....On/Off...it works great....

perfect thanks.
teslaLED is the best light app hands down
TeslaLED is another option. It lets you create a Power Widget-like widget to control the flashlight, too.
Remember to add the app to a keyboard shortcut!

Most of the stat_notify images done for framework and system apps.
For some reason TALK is not cooperating with me. Not third party apps.
If you have a free app that you would the notification done, let me know.
Ticker text is still white.....
Battery with w/ numbers is circle battery mod.
I hope to keep working on this on this theme and appreciate your feedback....just flash, you know the deal.
Updated 3/6: More Notifications done, Did some work on the lockscreen, text, phone, browser, camera and onlock all themed.
Made Kand'd Widget!!!! Nevemind the clock options, It does not tell time, just being clever, touching it will open alarm.

Its the phone's radio, the one responsible for functions such as calls,messages and mobile data . it is required to maintain the phone signal . Based on the stats as the person above said its your live wallpaper causing the wake locks. Baseband xmm power is normal usage I suppose.

It can also be an alarm/notification that is causing it. I've had this issue before and it was an app that gave notifications in the background without actually showing you the notifications.
In my case I think it was the V-Pet app (my gf has nostalgia with Digimon ). Notifications were disabled but it was still sending them out hidden to the system.
Somewhere in my post history is help regarding this issue. If you need help I'll go dig that thread out

Hello!
I was trying to learn all the date functions, #DRd , #DRm' , et al. but I cant seem to find a solution for my very simple problem.
Im trying to count (and display) the number of days, hours, minutes that have passed since I did something (like shave or watch pr0n).
Im really frustrated, all I had were the built-ins (which seemed to always count to a future date and not up from a date). Title says it all. Cheers!
How about an sunrise sunset arc countdown bar.
Basically, I have a picture of the earth on my wallpaper and I want to see if a status bar can decline around half the globe from sun-up to sun-down. Like one would do with a battery percentage or a clock.
Thanks.
Not really that hard of a request (to you at least) but I really want this clock theme on Zooper since mClock doesnt work for me. Heres a pic and also the .xml from mClock not sure if its workable with Zooper. Thanks for your consideration.
