HTC Wallpaper

Hey everyone.
I am looking for a certain wallpaper, its in many hero ROMs. It is the one with the sort of squares with white spaces between them.

I have it but im at work now if you want to wait until later...or you can download Drizzy's TF3D, extract it to your desktop, go into app_s and pull out the Rosie.apk. Change the ext. to .zip and then extract that. The wallpapers are in one of the folders inside the Rosie.apk.

No i am really sorry, in fact that is not the one. I dont think it was 3D. God if only i could remember the ROM it was on

Dang, I was hoping that would hook you up....I have also been looking for a specific wallpaper too (White rabbit over HTC logo)... no luck myself...I will keep an eye open for your quest too..

I believe Drizzy got it from the Windows Mobile crowd.
It's from the Touchflo 3D UI.
You could find it probably in any one of the WM threads.
Or you could just pull it from the ROM itself using something like Win rar.(Probably the best way since it's already sized.)

Nice live wallpaper from froyo alpha (+ pressreader app)

Hi, because i perhaps go back to some other firmware version, I made some "backups" of things of the froyo alpha firmware that I eventually want to run on some other firmware versions. Haven't tested yet if they run on 2.1 firmware versions, but who knows..

Thanks! I just tried installing them on 2.1 and got a fail with the wallpapers (OLDER_SDK) but the PressReader however installed fine but when running I get a device authorization fail.. I'm no good at modding or coding but I'm sure someone else will get it running !

I'm pretty sure the Magic Smoke Live Wallpaper is there on 2.1, too.

Can you upload the Swype APK from Froyo?

You're right! I just downloaded some files from the Galaxy S .apk's thread, and the Magic Smoke wallpaper is included also. Never seen that one on any of the firmwares I had

Even I was trying to get these. Managed to extract the apk from one of the Ace ROM and attaching here. Worked fine on KPH. Just install like normal apk no need of Root access.

Is the Optimus G default keyboard available as an apk?

Hey guys,
I don't own an optimus g, but I played with it in the store for a bit. Coming from HTC with sense I was impressed with how awesome the default keyboard was in the G. I liked it even better than most paid keyboard apps that i've used.
Is that keyboard available anywhere as a separate apk? Is that even possible? To install that keyboard in another phone?

Let us know if you do... would love to have it and I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks so!

if your phone is rooted, browse to /system/app and you will see LGEIMEbin.apk which is the keyboard .apk as well as its .odex file for it. You will probably want to deodex it.
Edit: I deodexed it and threw it on my dropbox incase you guys want it. Cheers

Thanks will try it out on my n7.. For what its worth I'm getting very close to a theme on the stock android keyboard that mimics the lg options g keyboard... Here's a screen shot
