We need one. Most of the posts for anyone with the Droid Eris (modified HTC Hero) go into the HTC Hero CDMA forum. It would be nice to have a forum for the HTC Eris (which is significantly different from a hero in alot of aspects)

Maybe they can just add a sub-forum for the Eris in the Hero section.

Amount of Xda devs with that device is pretty low, and theres already a eris thing somewhere hidden in the hero section..
I know. Most of the people working on rooting (hacking/jailbreaking/whatever) the eris have been using the Hero CDMA forum. I am just requesting that we can get a subforum dedicated to the HTC Eris.

How many of these do we need?!
Search (or even just look for a few pages!) and you'll find loads of threads with exactly this question as the title.
Apart from anything else why not just go to a shop and have a play with both of them. Then you can make your own mind up instead of asking the same question which has been asked many many times and clogging up XDA.
Oh, you've also posted in the wrong section. There's a Q&A section which is specifically for questions. (clue's in the name!!)

He's got a point though!!! Q&A is for problems with peeps' devices and this forum is for any other stuff such as that HOX is better than Iphone thread which i find quite amusing!
Naa I am not trying to be a mod..its just that its so annoying every time I check into the General forum and its full of questions or individual problems..
If u wanna post all the questions here than what's the point of having a separate Q&A forum..
It's your wish guys I am just trying to help in uncluttering this forum so that we can see some healthy n fruitful discussion..

Seriously, there's no real need for a general forum if only the most "general" issues can be discussed. I only have to look at the first few pages of this forum to see that plenty of people's individual problems' threads have sparked lively discussion with dozens if not hundreds of responses. A "how do I change the volume" question certainly does not belong here. A "my display shows yellow spots when I press on it" one most certainly does.

As per this news, JB hits HTC One X in Asia starting today, does this mean we will see more custom roms which can be installed without worrying about CID's???
So all the speculation in the general sub-forum wasn't enough.You just 'had' to make a thread about it in the development section too.Mate this is not the right place to post this.And it has been posted a million times in the jellybean thread over at the general section.Go there to discuss it.
