Let me add me 1 dime to this SOD discussion. This is my current configuration:
OS Version: 5.2.21887(21887.5.0.86)
Manila Version: 2.5.20121225.0
ROM Version: 2.07.707.1 (80303) WWE
ROM Date: 02/04/10
Radio Version: 4.49.25.91
As can be see this is a Win 6.5 Upgrade from the Asia HTC support site. When i bought the Phone it came with the GCC Win 6.1. Then i upgraded to Win 6.5 Asia after a Hard-SPL. When the new series of 2.0 ROM versions came out, i upgraded to the European version. Virtually every 3 days or so i get a SOD. I was about downgrading to 6.1 back when i decided to give the Asia version of ROm 6.5 a try. And its over 4 weeks now since this upgrade and i am yet to have an SOD.
Does this indicate anything?

i log in today to the htc member section to check on the new rom for hermes aka dopod 838 pro but only found wm6 rom for D810 and i found something strange

the rom version is older than the cooked one we have here? is it because of the d810 have diff rom release than the hermes so that ver 3.00.707 is the same as hermes 3.33? or they just give us old rom update?

the D810 is for the Trinity... not the HERMES...
so yoyu trying say for diff model they have diff rom ver, in other word 3.00 on trinity it might not older rom just different from hermes one?
I don't know if this is a common thing on here as I am new to the forum but I was really finding it hard to locate the offical o2 Trion WM6 upgrade. After a quick call to o2 they sent me the very latest offical upgarde that they no longer have on the o2 web site. Hope it is of use to someone.

I'm a newbie here..well i need to know if i can upgrade the ROM of my HTC 3650 ( Polaris-India ) to the udK Diamond R4 - WWE (Build 19960.1.2.2) version;or do i have to wait for the official HTC release. Also can i upgrade to Windows mobile 6.1 pro ?
I have done a search but couldn't exactly find what i was looking for. Please help.

Hi guys, just registered to forums. Total n00b to flashing ROM for my HTC Touch Diamond altogether as phone was bought not too long ago(flashing official ROM wouldn't be hard anyway). Was wondering if I could unbrand all this Telstra crap off my phone via unofficial ROM flash and the steps on how it should be done.

You wont find stock ROM better than the one you have. If you go with cooked ROM, you should consider that they are not 100 % stable.
