Hello all. Im having problems accessing the android market. im running the latest build using vanilla 2.1. it doesnt load. just a white blank screen then it defaults to the homescreen. all help is appreciated. thanks.

Has anyone ever had an issue with apps not syncing once you log in after flashing a new ROM? My buddy and I just upgraded from RC3 to Stable (which works great, thanx Cyanogen!) and my apps streamed to my phone but his didn't. Our settings are the same.

You guys use the same gapps? The latest one is 1022 i believe.
Hey guys, another question here.
I'm using CM7 Nightly 14 and some apps that I can see in the market using Sense are not showing up in the market on CM7 apps INCLUDING the XDA app. Any ideas?

Well I see xda premium but not the regular but some apps aren't showing because they haven't been update it to run on 2.3.3(gingerbread) that's the reason they don't appear you will see then coming till the developer push an update to run on gingerbread, they most likely to run but it wasn't code it to run on 2.3 , just like 2.1 and up apps don't appear on 1.5, 1.6 and 2.0

Like title says, facebook as an update from market would not install. I removed existing fb and install clean, no dice. A copy of the olderversion also would not install. SOmething about not signed came up. Any ideas?

The latest facebook version doesn't work for me either. I have learned to back-up my facebook app before updating it.
I tried the backup and wouldn't install. I'm running the newest one finally. After a bunch of cache wipes and fix permissions I got it working. Even the backup did not want to cooperate.

Yep the latest FB update has issues. It installed fine for me on my G2 with CM7 nightly 41, but it force closes when tapping Profile, Friends, or Messages from the main screen. I didn't back up the previous version so I'm stuck with it until they release an update. Unless someone is so kind as to post an apk of the previous version.
It runs fine on my GF's Fascinate (running 2.1) though.
I've always found that the quality of the Android FB app mirrors the relationship between FB and Google.

here ya go. version 1.5.1, working just dandy.
EDIT: I originally attached 1.5.3 for whatever reason.
1.5.1, the version I am currently using on my phone that is working, is now attached.

see my original post, I added the correct apk. sorry 'bout that.
I found a fix. Its as simple as uninstalling the facebook update and your good. No more force closes.

It was saying application not installed too. I uninstalled all facebook apps. Fixed partition and then downloaded it again and it worked

Yea same here, wouldn't install for me.
I gave up on the official Facebook app and went with Flow for Facebook. Way better than the official app.

I need help from some users on here, I went looking for this app on the market like usual and it wasn't appearing so I proceeded to head over to the official website for the market link and it turns out "your device is incompatible with this app" how can this be? What I need help with is for people with evos head to this https://market.android.com/details?id=com.sony.snei.mu and tell me if it says the same for you followed with what Rom your running and android version. Works for me using Evolved rom in my sig

hey,i have samsung ace but my problem is that the ownhere maps i installed says "serachin for gps" all the time...do you have any solution to that???
5.11 version is also very fast after extensive testing so you can use that also. I think version 6 is meant for more powerful phones
works well on ddkq6 rooted.
dont know about speed because could not compare it with any other version.
Am already using 6.0 ownwhere and it's working great.. flashable zip is available

me too. my phone freeze in version 6.0...
i have problem that on my Ace Google maps doesn't show me the exact location . what to do ?
Install the 5.8 version!
