I'm having the same issue today. I think Facebook might be having some server issues. There are a couple other threads on it as well.

I've had this problem for several days now.

Non-Sense Rom + LauncherPro Plus + Facebook pictures sync

Why doesnt this work on non-sense roms?
Any sense rom I tried with launcherpro people widget showed me facebook pictures perfectly.
With non-sense rom, contacts sync fine but pictures dont show up on people widget.
Same with calendar widget..
You might give SyncMyPix a try which is available through market. With this tool you can sync/match your facebook contacts with your local contacts.

All contacts sync perfectly! The problem is that they dont show up on launcherpro people widget!
Anyone else knows this problem (and hopefully a solution to it)?
mhm ok I don't have any problems with that used SyncMyPix and they showed all up in the people widget of lpp.
SyncMyPix worked for me after all... not the best solution but a solution nonetheless..
Now... calendar widget fix...?

Sorry for reviving this thread but i really want to use a non-sense rom. I have managed to overcome the contacts pictures syncronization but the calendar wont work with non sense roms...

Problem with Facebook/FriendStream - ARHD 2.1

Morning,
Using ARHD 2.1, working brilliantly bar one small thing.. I would normally ask on the thread but it seems its a little heated in there with people desperately waiting for v3.0...
My Facebook sync doesn't seem to like syncing up any more. I tried flashing to LeeDroid 2.2.3, then tried Buzz 1.3.5 but no luck. When it does sync up, my FriendStream widget says 'no recent updates', my Handsent messaging also doesn't put Facebook names to numbers. So Im guessing the Facebook link or update function is buggy?
Is anyone else having this problem? Is there a fix?
Thanks for reading!
I think this was reported in the news recently.
Google has withdrawn its support for Facebook, this is due to Facebook being able to collect loads of data about you via a Google API. But Facebook does not allow the opposite, as no API exists.
Where I read this mentioned that it was likely only to affect the Nexus S at first, due to it having the latest Android version.
Ohh... sad times.. Thanks for reply.

[Q]Share the link to Twitter with Title

I flashed the Redux ROM couple days before.
It is way smoother and faster than previous stock HTC sense ROM.
However, I encountered a strange problem.
When I tried to share the links from Google Reader app or built-in browser to Twitter, it only includes the link without the head of the page.
I tried couple client like official Twitter client, TweetDeck, Opera and Firefox.
None of them works out.
Is here anyone has the same problem like me? How to solve it?
Thanks.
That's how they share, link only - not page title

So sad. I kind miss the HTC Sense now ...
Official Twitter app doesn't do it on a Sense ROM either - I'm using one
Then, I guess that it is Peep’s unique function.
I found that sharing via ReaditLater app brings the title and link together.

which apks are needed for timescape?

Hi guys, I installed a new Rom the other day which didn't have timescape.
So I went back to my stock backup and installed the following:
Timescape 1.0.2
Timescape widget 1.0.1
Timescape Feeds 1.4.2
Infinite View
Event stream engine 2.0.14
Facebook post viewer 1.0.A.0.3
Everything sorta works. Only problem is that it doesn't update so I'm stuck with statuses that happened last month, and that the twitter icon and facebook icons are now timescape icons in the app (if you know what I mean?) also it won't update twitter or facebook statuses
Can anyone be kind enough to link me to the remaining apks? Those were the only ones I could find with my titanium backup
Thanks guys
EDIT: ok managed to get it to connect to facebook and twitter. Twitter connects fine and updates properly on timescape. Whilst facebook connects and does not update.
I've also managed to get it so I can write statuses from timescape and it updates to twitter and facebook.
I just need to get the right thing so the facebook tab gets updated too.. :-S
Would also like to know. I kinda miss Timescape.
I think the social.zip found here may help you. Credits to Vokal1992 as it is an addon for his rom
does it work with CM9?
Don't know, I'll try when I install CM9 again tomorrow and I'll let you know. I'm guessing it doesn't but I'll let you know for sure when I try it

Facebook Friendstream on GSIII

Hi, I am not sure, if anyone is using facebook friendstream on GSIII. If so, your help is appreciated.
Hi, I am looking for facebook friend stream. Is it not available for Touchwiz JB ROM? If available, can anyone provide an apk please? If not available, can you tell me which one do you use as an alternative for facebook friend stream?
Also, I like the way facebook picture shows up, when we call someone or when we get a call. But, for some reason, I am not getting this functionality. Appreciate solutions.
