Hi there,
Does anyone know of an app that can be triggered to launch an app when pairing with a specific bluetooth device...
I have a bluetooth car kit in my car and would like the phone to start the gps app whenever the two of them pair up...

Hey all,
Got this phone last week and having some bluetooth issues. After much testing I think it is an A2DP issue. Basically I have a headset in my car and a FIPO adapter for my car stereo. Both are paired. When I get into the car both connect, but then both disconnect and reconnect repeatedly as long as any A2DP application is running. If I quit it works and stays connected. Any ideas? Anyone seen this? I have done a factory reset and that didn't do it.

Hi,
I have several bluetooth questions.
1. On my old TP2, once paired with BT in my car, as long as I would leave phone bluetooth on, it would auto connect every time I started my car. Nothing had to be done unless I reset the phone or turn BT off.
With ET4G, I have to manually go to BT settings and clique on my car BT to have it paired every single time I get into my car. Is that the way it works for everyone or is there a problem? It finds the car BT when I start the car, but does not auto pair.
2. I know officially Skype and Gtalk do not support BT audio out. Is there a way around? I use those apps to video chat while on the road, and on highway, speakerphone is too weak. Besides, it is located on the back of the phone, right against the windshield holder. Any ideas???
Thanks.
Mike
My BT connects every time I start my car or truck. I have a Pioneer Navigation Radio in the Car and Ford Sync in the Truck. BT has been pretty good for me so far. If you have not done so, maybe try and un-pair and re-pair it and see if that helps.
No problem here with car BT connecting automatically.
If you want Skype BT, use this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1148708 (bonus: you can turn off annoying start up/exit sound)
Hi Anybody else having trouble with Bluetooth,
It works fine but annoyingly - every time I get into car and switch on bluetooth I have to push button to connect to my car which is in list of paired devices already. I have never had this problem with any other phone and my car. They have always automatically connected.
I was thinking on buying Samsung TecTiles NFC stickers to automate switching on bluetooth but if I have to push button to connect doesn't seem to worth it.
Is it possible to connect the HTC One M8 to 2 bluetooth devices at once?
I want to connect the Bluetooth A2DP stereo headset to my car, and the hands-free phone connectivity to a Bluetooth headset.
I've gone in the Bluetooth profile on my phone and changed the car setting to NOT do phone, and I've changed the bluetooth phone headset to NOT do audio. Is there anything else I have to do to make this work?
It should work, don't think anything else is required.
I did the same with my note 2, not tried with the M8.
Only difference might be that my bluetooth headset was a basic one and thus could only connect to phone. So I into needed to make the change in the car BT options and remove media keeping only phone selected.
Hope yours works

Quick question though, can you bluetooth a keyboard to your phone as well as a speaker?
I have Bluetooth headset i wear all day and my car has a Bluetooth hands-free.
Things get quirky when a call comes in. The car Bluetooth takes the call, which i don't really like but can live with i guess.
The problem i have is switching between Bluetooth devices at will. The iPhone lets you easily cycle between Bluetooth devices or the phone when a call comes in. The iPhone also cycles between all the devices in most podcast/media apps.
Are there any apps or settings that will allow me to easily cycle between Bluetooth devices at will? Tried soundabout but it didn't help.
Thanks for any suggestions!
