Anyone seen an even sort of reasonabley priced 32gb microsd card? I need more than the 8gb stock card, but 80 more bucks for memory sucks.
i buy 16gigs for $60.
google "buy 16 gig sdhc class 6 micro"
The card class is just as much important as the size. I have an 8GB Class 6. It was more than a 16GB Class 2, but I wanted the extra speed.
If you don't care about the speed rating, you can get a class 2 16GB card for $30 on Amazon.
That's not a micro sdhc card.

Which, if any, microsd cards have you all bought for your captivate and where?
Anyone waiting for a higher speed and more affordable 32gb? If so, what are you using until then?
Yeah I'm hoping that by the time I use up the internal 16GB, 32GB start hovering around $40.
im using the 8 gb class 6 transcend card that i used with my blackberry bold 9700. i think it was around $15 on amazon.
Using an 8gb class 6 card from Transcend also, but I am only going to upgrade to 16gb, waiting for my Ridata class 6 card to show up from Newegg.

16gb class 2 card from Amazon.
I seem to remember something about the previous htc phones that they could only access a microsd card at class 2 speeds. Is this true of the Evo? I am getting ready to order my 32GB microSD card and I don't know whether to get the class 2 Sandisk one or the class 4 Kingston one.
I presently have a class 6 16GB in my EVO. But I actually thought that 16 was as high as you could go.
BTW... I dont see a huge speed gain going from my class 2 8gb to class 6 16gb... so it may be worth it to stay with the slowed speed since the price is cheaper.
Thanks for the info. According to the htc site it can take a 32GB microSD card. There are a few merchants that sell them but they aren't cheap.
I was looking at Newegg and came across an Adata UHS 32gb Micro Sd card. It is currently $59.99 and the Adata 32gb Class 10 Micro Sd was $49.99 (yesterday 12/12). I see that the Class 10 is now $61.99. Anyone try these new UHS cards out? Any speed tests? It is advertised as 30% faster than Class 6, but does not list any Class.

Cool. I just got 2 16GB UHS cards from Adata and as far as transfer goes I'm sure these are better.
Just upgraded to 32GB microSD.....
I learned a long time ago not all class10 sd cards are truly class10 read/write speeds. These cheaper cards tend to be slower
Anyone have a good line on a 32gb card?
I got mine for £11 of Amazon.co.uk. 16gb Class 10 microSD Samsung. works great in my defy.

Edit: gone down to £10.50 now
Hello,
Planning on getting a 32gb card for my s3 because I always find myself in the situation where I'm freeing up space! I have my eyes on these 3 cards on Amazon, any ideas which would be best?
SanDisk Ultra 32 GB microSDHC Class 10 UHS-1
Sony 32GB Class 10 Micro SDHC R40
Samsung Micro SD 32GB Class 10 Plus UHS-I SDHC
I read that the Sony card performs much better than the SanDisk. The SanDisk gives around 10mb/sec of write speed, the Sony give 15 or so.
Sorry I can't put links to the Amazon items because I'm a new user and I need 10 posts at least.
Thanks guys,
Go with Sony or Samsung (make sure they are not fake). Sandisk is okay, but a lot of people have complaints of sandisk micro SD cards (mainly the 32gb) start acting up after 6 months of use, sometimes to the point it stops working.

I would go for a class4 or class6. Ive heard horror stories about them "ultra class10" and "plus class 10" sd cards and galaxy's. I have both sandisk class4 32gb and samsung class6 32gb and they perform well for what i need them to. Just my 0.02. Good luck.

i have a 32gb Sandisk ultra and is still running like a champ. Im even running the ExtSd2InternalSd mod which makes my phones runs is internal memory off my 32gb memory card. its $23 on amazon
http://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-Micro...375130716&sr=8-1&keywords=sandisk+ultra+32+gb
I have a 32 gig card I bought from micro center and it works great for $20.
Get the samsung! I have personally used both samsung and sandisk, and maybe i was unfortunate that the sandisk was corrupted but the samsung is still working fine considering i got both around the same time.

Hmm on the other hand there are a lot of users that are happy with C10 cards. Maybe they fail after an extended period of time?
Thanks for the feedback guys,
To be honest, I am currently using a 16GB transcend class 4 on my S3 and i'm quite happy with it.
From what i gathered when purchasing my memory card, class 10 mem cards are better with DSLRs where write speed is very important.
