I've updated my phone with newest patch since then I've had problems with my Facebook contacts appearing in my phone list (not all of them just ones with numbers) I have contacts unticked and they sometimes aren't there and other times are. I keep signed in to send pics to Facebook otherwise id delete the Facebook sense

Have you tried hitting refresh data to get all of your email back? I notice I sometimes lose the email using hotmail and I need to use refresh data to get it back.
I did try this and it didn't work. I re- installed social hub and everything is working.

socail Hub has a huge flaw in its Email application. It automaticlly deletes from the server all my received Emails after 48 hours. This is my second SGS and I still have the same issue.I phoned Samsung and they sent a helpdesk ticket to South Korea.
Still waiting for an answer...
how do you add hotmail to social hub and do you have the issue that when you select facebook it just goes to the website?
I add hotmail to it but don't use face book on it.

Hi, I used the fix permissions feature from ROM manager, and now for some reason all of my contact pictures no longer appear in my messages app, how can I fix this?

Are you referring to the facebook pictures that associate themselves with your contacts or personally applied ones? If it's the facebook ones, I believe I've read here somewhere that you have to remove the facebook account from the phone, re-add it and then do a sync again.
That happened to me... You have to go into contacts and reset every picture... Very annoying

Hello, i got this problem. I syncd facebook contacts to my dhd and i linked it with my phone contacts so that their pictures will show. It worked at first, but after i rebooted. The pictures of contacts appear in people only.. it doesnt show in messages. Need help. Thanks

So I send a lot of emails on Craig's List using my Gmail account. For some reason every email address I send an email to get captured by Gmail, and somehow ends up in my contacts list, and gets downloaded on my phone every time I sync after installing a new ROM.
Any Gmail experts know how to prevent this from happening?

I'm def no expert on that but seems like its more likely a setting in your gmail than your phone. Log in with your computer and look through the settings on there.
