I'm wondering what the best place to preorder the Evo is, based on the various promotions.

I ordered from Best Buy. Dont know which is better but I've heard that if you mention the Radio Shack accessories deal they'll match it.
Also it looks like only BB is going to have the HDMI dock at launch.

Anyone know of any reputable sites selling a new Jawbone for mega cheap? I've found $82 on Amazon so far or $100 right from AT&T.
if in US, go to best buy, tell them you have seen the price dropping on the internet, ask clerk to do a product comparison search, then get a mgr to price match. Works if they are bored, and in a less tech savy area. got my black one for $79.

They aren't available yet, and the Sprint reps I've talked to didn't know when they were coming. I would assume with the phone release since RS is doing their accessories credit with pre-order. Just speculation though.
FWIW, I've talked to 2 of my local radioshacks (in Oklahoma) that said they were pretty sure they would have 0 accessories associated with the EVO on release, and expect you to use it on generic junk (they phrased it a bit different).
Also, one of the stores told me I had to redeem the credit with my EVO purchase. Lameface.
My rep told me at Radio Shack in Statesboro, GA that they would have Evo 4G accessoies in on or before the 4th, and if you didn't use your $20 then it converts to gift card.
If it doesn't covert to a gift card you can buy a bluetooth headset then return it later for store credit or exchange it for something else. I talked to the Radio Shack people as well and they are very unsure what they will have because they don't have their inventory yet. The last guy I talked to said he was certain that they would have car chargers and maybe one type of case.
if you find a good car dock / cradle, post your find pls.

I'm not sure where you are, but I found that Davenport's best buy usually held their evos longer than other best buys. I would go to bestbuy.com, search for evo and look for in-store availability. If it's at any best buy near you, buy it online, print out the thing they email you and bring it in to pick it up. Then you don't have to go all the way to each best buy and check, plus it's pseudo-reserved for ya.
I bought my Evo and my wifes Evo from the Palm Beach Gardens Best Buy about 2 or 3 weeks ago. They had plenty of the new white ones.

great deal for us Canadians. Best Buy Canada has the HD Multimedia dock for $49.99 in store.
It isn't listed on the website anymore but it's offered in store, so call ahead to verify stock. I picked mine up on Saturday from the Toronto - Downsview.
They also had a 20% off promotion that stacked with it (when you buy a 2nd cellphone accessory), so it came to 39.99 + HST.
Picked one up for 49.99 as well. Pretty good deal considering it was more than half off the original price. Hope they slash the laptop dock price as well.
Is this with the Bluetooth kybd and mouse, or just the HD dock and mini remote?

yeah, the staff isn't aware of the price. So you have to get them to scan it.
I popped into a couple Best Buys and Sprint stores in the last few days and nobody has cases yet. I don't like to buy things like cases online because I can't stand returns/exchanges involving shipping. I need to see it and feel it before I buy it. Anybody found them in local shops?

I checked Radio Shack and they had nothing.
Best Buy has some but there crap!
Stay away from local retailers. They screw you. Bestbuy, Futureshop, and the carriers in Canada are selling the lowest quality available. Mostly the 's-line' style found on ebay for $2. Yet they think they should charge 30. I highly recommend Ebay or Amazon. Same cases just not exorbitant prices.
