Back in April we have see the LG Windows Phone 7 phone in action in the hands of Charlie Kindle, Program Manager for Windows Phone 7, Microsoft. Now, these devices were shipped to some developers to test their applications instead of the Windows Phone 7 Emulator. (More..)

When I connect my LG optimus 7 phone to my macbook pro I do not see the new network interface notification and I do not see the phone in the list of devices. What bothers me the most, is that the phone is recognized and is working fine with a Windows 7 laptop. Is there a workaround with the LG Optimus phone?
the phone sync fine with the mac using the windows phone connector for mac, although after i tweak the MFC menu to switch back and forth....
Hey everyone,
does WiFi Sync work for you on the Windows 8 CP?
My PC always gives error 80004001.
Regards
This indicates that Windows 8 is missing some necessary functions. The only thing you can do is wait for updates. Have you tried to set it up using Release Preview as well?
It also does not look for updates, that's why I went back to Windows 7.
Hi, I just get my new Huawei Watch, its an amazing device. the only issue its that I don't use Android my phone is a Lumia 1520 with Windows 10 (10559) I know that many of You are going to say that this watch does work...that its impossible....I know, but there is any way to make it work? I really don't want to say anymore than this because it sounds like you are some kind of fanboy, but listen fanboy, Android mobile is way better than anything Microsoft has in the mobile department. I use Windows 10 and would love to think that it is the greatest ever but not so for mobile yet.........
Have you managed to pair your windows phone with Huawei watch
Hello,
I was wondering if there's any mobile or windows phablet (maybe upto 7" or 8") which support a full desktop windows installation, running .exe files, etc whilst still being able to receive/make phone calls like any other standard phone?
I've not been able to see any with Windows, if they don't exist, any idea why?
or if they do exist, could you please give me some models to do further research and see where I could get one and for how much?
Thank you!!
Not possible
I'm not a tech expert but I'd say that's not possible because a full desktop Windows requires a x86 processor, and there's none for a mobile device or phablet or something like that.
There are tablets of that size that run full windows and have LTE but I'm not aware of a phone app that would enable voice calls like a standard phone. Some example tablets are the New Dell Venue 8 Pro, HP Envy 8 Note, HP Pro Tablet 608 and ThinkPad 8. Maybe you can search for an app that would enable voice calls.
Yeah, I saw a few tablets around that size with windows and 3G, however, I was thinking something working more as a phone (as in, able to be running continuosly, with good battery and possibility to receive calls there).
Thanks for the models, I'll research some of those further...
Akyumen holofone has a cherry trail 8300 and dual boots android and full fat windows.
Well, there's the ASUS Zenfone 2:

Hi All
I have a MacBook Air (yes I know) saw the light with the note 10 and wanted to get android over iPhone.
Anyway I can not for the life if me get the MacBook Air or my husbands windows 7 machine to recognise the phone. If plugged in it gives it power but won't pop up to recognise device on either machine...
I spoke to Samsung but they were next to useless about it... any advise on how I can get this working before I end up back with icrap!
Thanks

I've got the same problem. Android 10+ and Dex(Windows 10,) does not work.
I can add, that originally, when Note 10+ launched last year , My Note 10 + (Android 9) /Dex (Windows 10) worked flawlessly.
If i connected my device to my Windows 10 laptop Dex would launch automatically, time and again.!
However lately, i think last 2 updates, to Dex,
it just really got worse. .
However,
If i connect to a tv monitor, Dex works 100 %.
No issues.
Further, Windows (Microsoft) My Phone Companion, always
had some errors. Now it working Fine.!
Point i want to make is,
If you watched, the live Samsung launch of Note 10 ((last year), Microsoft and Samsung
really" laid it on" regarding Microsoft and Samsung working together re Dex . The potential Dex had etc.
Now two big companies, with loads of experience,
cannot get it right.?
it seems to me they have been "working backwards" ?
Dex in General in its present state, errors, not launching etc, is useless for me.
