WTF is this crap? - Tilt, TyTN II, MDA Vario III Android Development

Check out this Ebay auction. It's title says "HTC Tilt 8925 FULLY Working Android 2.1 WiFi.BT, GPS!!". That is some false advertising.

xda-developers.com not in Wikipedia!

I noticed that xda-developers.com is not listed in Wikipedia, and I think it should be!
I would love to know more of the history of this site: the founding fathers, the timeframe, the thought and planning that went into it.
Who knows all this, who could write about it?
web archive shows the old site; saw one with the second pic that works

Quality pic. Enthusiasts, wires, hardware, redbull. What more do you need?

feels great to know the history of xda-developers.

Linux phones to WM6

Hi,
I was wondering if it is possible to change the OS on a Linux phones to WM6.
Specifically I am wondering what will it take to change the OS on a phone like this to WM6.
I think the hardware should be the same, boot loader can be modified since people do dual boots, and it would be very nice to have a small touchscreen phone like this with Windows Mobile 6.
I don't think anything like it even exists on the market. And I think that people would be willing to spend a lot of money on this kind of phone.
What do you guys think?
This phone below costs $105 shipped:

Chuckled when I saw this. Gee, wonder why they're such a great deal?
The Rhodium section of xda is not the best place to grab sales for the Fuze, but I bet there are tons of people who haven't heard of the TP2 who are going to be kicking themselves in a couple of weeks.
I'm not so sure the ads are clever enough to know that the Rhodium is more advanced than the Fuze and as such might not appeal.
Glad you found it amusing though!
funny, i deactivated all ads,
but the only thing i canĀ“t deactivate ist the
T-Mobile iphone 3 s flash-ad, so all i see the whole day is

Yaay for AddArt!

Falldown for Windows Mobile

A long time ago...
There was a game called "Falldown". It was mostly known from MirageOS on some popular Texas Instruments callculators. There's also a remake for the iPhone/iPod Touch.
Basically, it's a really simple -but fun- game.
Description:
Fall down through the holes and avoid getting squished at the top. Score points by staying alive as long as possible.

Gotta love Penny Arcade, the last screen is brilliant
Sent from my Windows Phone
personally, I don't wear shirts I'm not sponsored for... or advertise on my emails. its cheesy.
the 'toon is a riot though. I don't think apple is having this conversation much.
Noticed the mailto link, sent him this
Woah, someone seems to be a little fanboy

Ahh.... I love Penny Arcade
Amusing comic. Tycho's post smacks of someone that hasn't had more than a brief flirtation with Windows Phone, but Gabe's echos my own sentiment; I don't give a crap if your app marketplace/store is massive if your phone is ****.
