Hi all,
Is it possible to get the STOCK NEXUS ONE News Widget onto the HTC desire.
I had a Nexus 1 originally, and its much better and less buggy. Traded it in for a HTC desire, and that app/widget is the only thing I miss!
Any idea?

I have 2 questions really. My device is the ordinary htc desire, However on the back of my device it mentions it is equipped with htc sense, what is it and how do I use it?
2 I am looking at navigon navigation but I have just downloaded a new rom of android 2.2 Is navigon compatible? I emailed navigon no reply typical... Also do i need to spend £89.95 on it or can I get away with £39.95. And do I get additional voices with the package??? I would appreciate all feedback regarding these questions. Htc sense is basically htc's skin or UI on android.It helps to enhances android experiences.

I have Iphone today pluging installed on my Mini (Htc sense is disactived). That works great.
But I miss HTC contact and HTC settings.
Does anyone know how to get them ?
I mean what is the location and the programm name (and maybe parameters) to set in Iphone today to get them (whether it's possible since Sense is disactived).

Sorry Buddy.. I guess, you can't have "HTC Contact" and "HTC Setting" with HTC Sense Disabled.. These are HTC Sense's Components.. You can NOT have them without HTC Sense..

Hey mandelion.. Sorry Dude .. But, this is how HTC Sense works.. And the Calculator, Camera & Albums are not the HTC Sense's Components, they are Windows Mobile's Features.. So, they will always work, with or without HTC Sense..

Well, as regards the calculator and the album I can get them with the Sense's "skin" even if Sense is disabled.
And HTC album (or camera) seems to be more than just a skin of WM album because it offer more functionnality (zoom finger friendly, automatic full screen..).
In windows root you can see several HTC programms that stand alone (without Sense).
But I couldn't find HTC contact or HTC settings...

Hm... very interesting! However if all amoled devices are able to get either 3 or 5 point multi-touch as he says then why on earth did HTC only equip the Desire with 2 point multitouch??? It doesn't make much sense to me but nobody would be happier than me if he's right
I'm not sure, maybe HTC see things only by the commercial way. Real multi touch as a new feature to sell new devices.

Hey guys! just wondering why can't I see other HTC Hub widgets other than the (Call Mom, Fake Call, Quick Record and Tip calculator). Aren't there suppose to be more widgets than those 4?
No, same here. Not sure if there should be more but that's all that is there right now.
I saw in DHD more widgets in HTC Hub and the new Desire S which has the new sense ofcourse should have more since its GB already

I'm really new here, actually, i just planning to update from simple wildfire to S.
But i already have a problem:
I went on htcsense.com and i can not choose wildfire s from list, so i contacted htc support and they said it is not known yet it will be get this option. (But htc have on their support pages help to register wildfire s on htcsense.com)
Anyway, thats not a big problem if i can use htc hub and likes on the phone, can i?
