Should I get the Desire or the N1 ?
When we will see a 2.2 port for the Desire?

what was stopping me from getting N1 was tethering that HTC provides on my HTC Hero
now Froyo has it built-in ! so would this make N1 faster than desire with Froyo?
thanks
i wouldnt know until Desire gets Froyo. However im running Froyo on my N1 and it's not as fast as they stated. But it is noticable faster.
My bet is they both will run equally as fast.

they have almost identical hardware. so there shouldn't be any difference in speed. it all comes down to which you like more
Consider the endless threads of people pining for FROYO on their desire, I'd pick the nexus.
Easy, Desire...
I really hate trackballs since I have had a hero, dirt gets stuck in it and then the ball wouldn't even turn. Love that optical track pad, although it needs some
time to get used to.
If you want fast updates get a N1, if you are prepared to wait for htc update and if you love htc sense, buy a desire.
checked on this forum but could not find an answere, on a well known site they are selling batterys for htc desire hd but cant find one for the htc desire ( old version) can anyone please supply info
No they are very different in size

Hello, Just heard about the MHL adapter for Galaxy s2 & HTC sensation, Will it work with Desire HD!??
;-)
Yeah anyone?
Its a software thing so if the developers decide to put it in their ROM's then its possible.
Hello,
I would like to know if the official desire S (or incredible S) battery is compatible with the desire Z. Indeed i see in ebay that a generic battery for desire Z is also compatible with these 2 others devices.
I would prefer tu buy an official one, and as the desire S one has a better capacity than the desire Z one, that 's why i ask this question.
Thanks for your answers.
Hi there
Recently I rooted my HTC desire phone and installed the Gingervillain ROM, which is fantastic. I have just purchased a HTC Sensation and would like to do the same, can anyone tell me if this is possible and point me to a how to?
thank you
That ROM probably doesn't exist for the Sensation, a new model. The Sensation Development forum seems to have a few great ROMs to choose from. I would go with the Android Revolution HD
