I like the look of this!

Hi all!
I have FLASHED my device like 3 times in one week. I am using Windows Mobile VI - BLACK EDITION v1.2 and I think that ROM is great in all aspects.
Now I stumbled upon this http://msmobiles.com/news.php/6155.html I know that this article has a link to the ROM upgrade but I was unable to confirm that pictures in the article = the ROM that they point too?
I really like the look of the cosmetics of this version. Is this ROM available here somewhere? The curved lines on the START button and black shiny effects are really nice. I want it!

Do I need an extended ROM that adds these nice cosmetic features? I try my best to research before asking. Thanks in advance!

None of that really has anything to do with the ROM it looks like Wisbar Advanced using a Vista skin or something which is a addon. I'm sure others probably recongize it but my guess would be Wisbar Advanced is what it is..

Generally following applications tested and working: TomTom, Wisbar, Adobe Reader. Buetooth seems to work better - for example stereo Bluetooth headset R35 I-Clip now correctly pauses/plays.

He has Wisbar installed and like I said it looks like the Vista skin.

i would say that looks like a WAD skin to me... not a special rom, wad can be found @ http://www.lakeridgesoftware.com/ and there are skins... good luck with it though.. i have tried it several times and always had problems, but other people seem to like it

I can confirm that this is not the rom... These are third party applications.
Ilauncher
Wisebar Advance 2
Wisbar Advance Lite Skin
and a hour or so on the configuration...

Just FYI - they were referring to the XDA Live ROM in that post.

Stay away from Wisbar, nice looking but very very bugridden and not working nice on TyTns. Ilauncher is working ok as long as you don´t have a lot of shortcuts to apps on the mermorycard, with that it hangs sometimes waking up from standby

Yep, I was running that exact same theme with Wisbar v2 but it was predictably buggy on my phone as well. If you need a similiar app, as mentioned try Ilauncher instead.

I always had issues with WA/WAD on WM5. I thought I'd give it a try after i upgraded to a WM6 ROM, and WA has been running just fine. WAD still had issues, but I haven't found any themes that I really like anymore than a nice clean PocketBreeze interface.
Anyway, that's my anecdote. If you like the look of that screenshot, go get the trial and see if you can find the theme.

Mobile Webbs

I've converted a PC screen saver I wrote to the HD. It should actually work on any device, though... It's called MobileWebbs, and it is a flowing design of lines that seem to curve around each other, although they are all actually straight. I've attached a zip file with the executable, the Formlib.dll and the Basic4PPC source code that makes it work. I've also included some screen shots, but I had to use a timer to get them, and it seems its difficult to get a snapshot of a design as it completes before the next one starts, but you can get the gist.
Notes:
1) To end the program, just tap the screen anywhere and it will stop.
2) If you use a program like Gyrator2 to auto change the orientation of the screen, don't change the orientation once MobileWebbs is running. This causes it to freak out. You can start MobileWebbs in any orientation you wish, just don't change it once it starts running.

Edit: 1/5/09 - Added cab file -- sorry everyone, the program that made the cab file didn't allow much flexability such as ability to install to storage card, or program icons, or even a proper program name, but it's still exciting to watch it do it's magic!!!

YES IT DOES!!! I still have a polaris that I'll use for 3d tethering, since I live in the US, and 3g doesn't work on hd's. But yet, I have one, and really like it. A lot!!!
Hey, you should try my MobileWebbs.. it's mesmirizing! And everyone you show it to will be in awe. Just don't change the orientation, tho.. It doesn't like that. But you can start it any way you like, just don't change it once it's running.

No, I didn't notice. But I will. I'm shutting down for the day now. I have to drive 800 miles to get back home and will take a peek sunday night. I was actually quite impressed with the speed of the graphics thus far. Gyrator2 takes only a moment to redraw after re-orientating, and all in all, the device seems quite faster. I'll be waiting to see what you can improve
btw... if you get a sec, would you make a cab for MobileWebbs? That stuff seems to be second nature for you, and it'd take me an hour or two to get it figured out. Well, gotta run. Hope you're doing well

.NET 3.5 is cooked into the ROM i'm currently using
all other apps that depend on it work fine
anything else we should try/check?

Just need time to solve some minor issues

well the common ground seems to be the screen resolution (HD and Xperia having the problem). Did you do something special to change it from 480x640 (diamond resolution)?

I like to play GameBoy Advance and Gameboy games. (ZELDA rulez! ) So here is my modification of Dredd67's glorious gamepad.
Cause Gameboy has not so many buttons, the Multi-Touch is significantly improved.

Read this.
Turn OFF sound and FPS in General and in VGBA setting, further turn in VGBA settings AutoSync off, Image Interpolution OFF, FrameSkip to 3.
If it is still laggy set the screen size setting to 150%...
It is unplayable with sound... I know, but its the same problem with SNES games...
There is a new VGBA version out there -> 3.6. I will try it out, and will post my experience here.

nice but for some reason playing the nes when i press the dpad and the b button together it don't respond well. but the a+dpad pressed together works well. can tell me how to get it to work. thanks in advance.

Hey, I was wondering if this skin could be made smaller, like the size of the regular skins in MorphGear. I have a Samsung Epix 320x320 screen and this takes up the whole screen.

X-Ray for Touch HD (REQUEST)

Hello guy`s i wonder do anyone can make X-Ray for Touch HD what mean this exactly so X-Ray is a fun application its not a real X-Ray scaner its only a gift image but look`s good and on the same time is alot of fun you can trick your friends around and to have alot fun with this app!
I already found this freeware but is with lol resolution if someone can make it to work in HTC touch HD will be perfect and the app to run in full screen!
For example here the latst version of X-ray v3 its run on other 6.1 HTC devices but on Touch HD don`t run good maybe because of the resolution i think!
I know that to run this app you need also "msvbppc" if someone can create this funny app for our devices !
xRay is a joke you can use to make your friends laugh. Using X-ray is incredibly simple! Just start the program, and while it runs, slide your mobile over your hand, following the movement of the hand on the screen. If you practice a bit this will give really funny results!

Yes look like real X-ray and have few options Infrared Scaner and many more this version show only Hand but if anyone is able to make it for Touch HD can add many more options if add more gif images to show separate finger or fingerprint and etc something like this ! eveyrhting is posible

I have the same problem. I installed different versions of the program, but none of them work fine.
It would be nice if the creator of the program make a new version with G-sensor integration.

The programe is made for small screen resolution for this we have troubles running the program, so some creator can make it for our devices and even much more better with G-senzor enabled or other option with diferent images!

hey! i installed it on my HTC diamond
, works fine but not scanning ! just showing little thumb at bottom right side..!
in help page i read that i have to hold a button in device but i dont have camera button !! what can i do ? how to use it on diamond !?
