Hi, I've installed this to my phone and reset it. Now my Touch Flo 3D won't load. Its stuck on the 'Launching Touch Flo 3D' then will occasionaly go on 'Tap here to Launch Touch Flo 3D'
Does any body know how to remove this feature so I can use my phone as normal. Thanks in advance.

No use... Having the same issues as the above poster..

It's for version 3.0 (bUILD 32567). Just disable TouchFLO and then uninstrall the cab.

not for the new manila then?

No it's for the standard ROM

Which standard rom are you using.. nobody seems to be having any success here.

I've just uploaded a new CAB, see if this works for you.
It goes without saying that if you have another Background for all TABs this will need to come of first, before installation, this may be the problem

This has already been answered and from a total of about 70 downloads there has only been about 3 or 4 that have had problems.

No the manilla build has been answered...
and 70 downloads and nothing but questions and problems doesnt mean its working..

I appreciate that a few are having problems but in saying this I am left with only my own phone to test this on.

Cool.. I understand.. thats why Im asking what other people are experiencing.. its just that Ive had to hard reset because it messed up my tabs.. turning my weather one into a weird ghost unmarked one.
Not your fault.. I know that sometimes using this stuff will mess my phone up

Did you have a 15 Tab one on before as I can't see how a clean uninstall would have not brought you back to your original tabs.

If you havn'tdone so yet just disable touchflo, then do an uninstall and then reinable touchflo and it will be back up and running

I am using the original ROM (as I have just bought it 2 weeks ago)..
.. and still dose NOT work..

Backlight problem while cooking!!

Hey Guys!!
Im having a backlight problem when i cook, the problem is i cant change the backlight level even when i change it the backlight remains the same, can i know which DLL/EXE is it concerned with??
I know about: HTCUtil.dll, Powerexe.exe
tell me about more so i can try by replacing them thnx!!

Ive called my provider and sended them my phone, and they give me a whole new one,
becauze the other one has some elektric failure inside

mine isnt an electric failure its some DLL or something in my OEMs i jsut want to knw wht

The version of HTCUTIL used in my kitchen automaticaly adjusts the backlight based on the light sensor, you should just need to untick this option which gives you access to the sliders.

Already tried Gingerbread. It looks nice and works quite smooth but it's not yet ready for daily use. Other than issues posted on stinebd's blog I've also couldn't get default keyboard to work, had problems with wifi (but could be user error) and neocore wouldn't run properly.
Remember to backup your SD card before using this because it needs to be tested on clean install.
BTW. I really like the UI overhaul Google did in 2.3 =)

It worx great! it is laggy but i can feel the speed!
WiFi works for me, note that in 2.2(FroYo) i can turn on the wifi only one time per boot, in that release(2.3.1) its just working every time!! (but maybe its from the modules, im using the latest)

Nope, i didn't. It is not yet optimized, but its quite fast, even not optimized
(in earlier development state). HW3D does not work! I think by Default
there is not a daily use SD-Android (it keeps the SD powered on all the time the android is 'online' even when in idle),
so it consume too much power for daily use. That's my point.

The missing on-screen keyboard is a known issue. Actualy it's not completely missing i can press b, n, v, etc.
The LED is on when you start haret with plugged charger.

I have this build in everyday use, just get better keyboard from market and use that..

I did! It runs great, in 2.2 & 2.1 its very, very slow...
on that 2.3 it flies!!

For my the camers starts but with no image,only settings.After changing resolution it fails.

Try with another rootfs(for the wakeup problem), backup and delete data.img, if
you can't see changes
and always use the latest kernel and rootfs.
I have no any problems, excepting the known issues, and bug-s.

Thank you leonore, but I have some troubles with it.. I chose Blackstone startup config but haret booted WM again. :/
Don't you know guys what to do with this please? Have Kingston class 2 microSD.

Hi, I'll give you a simple HOWTO :
1. Download this.
2. Extract the contents of the archive to the root of your FRESH FAT32
formatted microSD, excepting the system.ext2
(if it's SDHC(larger than 2-4GB), microSD shouldn't be class 6 and higher)
3. Download this.
4. Extract the system.ext2 to the root of the microSD
5. Run HaRET.exe and have fun!!
Edit: if the andro does not boot successfully, try to use the latest modules and rootfs
if you don't know how to do it, just--\/

I'm opening this thread for have a place where shareideas to fix our Samsung apps for fit low DPi (high Resolution).
First, i'm not a developer so we need to cooperate alltogheter for win
I have a SGT European GSM, i don't know if those mods can be applicable to any CDMA device.
I fixed 2 apps for now:
Dialer, inside Contact.apk, mostly fixed only the dialpad, still need to fix Incoming/Outcoming calls
Calculator, fixed 100%
I have used this 2 great app :
[DPI] Dialer, MusicPlayer, Calc, FM, Camera + GUIDE +utility(kinda)
Apk Manager 4.9 - Makes Modifying Ur Apk A Breeze (Windows/Linux)
Inside these threads you will find how to use them.
What i modded:
Contact.apk-----> res/layout/dialer_app.xml
Calculator.apk---> res/layout/main.xml
Install them via Adb or rootexplorer.
This thread is meant for development, for people that wanna help for that purpose, do not put your request or whatever here.

They come from Alterbridge (Overcome)rom but they are stock apps Galaxy Tab, if Boyppc use that stock apps then they are good for you.
Make a backup of your old apps before, just to be sure.

This is the exact reason i still use 240 and not something lower. I will let you know how it works on DiP7's rom.

I really dont mind it, you see the dialer like %3 of the overall time when using the tab

Just FYI, pixel density is not the same as dpi. A lower pixel density leads to an increase in dots per inch.

Sorry, I should've said "LCD Density". Decreasing that increases PPI and DPI - well, perceptually anyway, the LCD is still fixed at 1024x600. Given that the actual screen is 6.0" x 3.5" (7.0" diag) that means a native PPI/DPI of approx 170. I've no idea how LCD density relates to these values - can someone explain?
The wiki page nicely explains why I always feel like I can fit more "stuff" onto a Windows desktop than an OS X one though

I have looked into changing my tabs lcd and samaung says it will run best between
191 and 200. That we just need to find the best one for the tab. It is set at 240 stock. I have mine running at 195, and everything runs and shows up perfect. Looks like a new hd screen!

first of all.. thanks for the links.
i was trying to edit the email.apk to display properly in landscape mode but it is force closing whenever im switching to landscape mode. im trying to display the message list on left pane to adapt to extra height but it doesnot seem to work for some reason. the file i changed is.. Email.apk\res\layout-land\p1_message_list.xml
i think the line should read

Did anyone get the Camera.apk to work with low densities? I just switched to 172 and I'm loving it. Everything looks much better.. except the Camera da FCs on startup.

Is there a way to make the stock camera look normal while im using 480 dpi on the whole phone? Would be nice.. or is there another camera app i could use that pops out just as quick as stock when i double tap the home button?

yes i put the 480 dpi. It works fine into some apps but it's really not compatible with TW.
Some apps are fine, like i said, but some apps aren't good. For instance : in Facebook, the size of the text is good in 480dpi (so, it's smller) but the size of the pics are the same than stock dpi. So, you have a little text bug big images... Not good to see :s

Oh im sorry.. i think i confused you... i was talking about the camera from the thread that was linked in post 3. Iam already using my phone in 480... the only thing that bothers me is the camera.. i was wondering if you have tried the camera thats compatible with 480 dpi and how it went?

How do u change the dpi in apps? Are you using xposed or something?

Aw ok, i didn't understand the 1st time. Sorry !
I didn't try the camera's tweak. Every other thinks didn't fit right, so i prefered to return to stock dpi.

If you still need it, Check out my Camera MOD. I created 2 versions, one for 540dpi and one for 480dpi. I offer these based on both the original app and the version modded by amk19.
If you require another dpi setting, let me know and I'll see if I can add thatone as well.
