Exist a .cab for the cam.
This. cab adds to the camera zoom.
but not as it is called the .cab

what do you mean by zoom software. do you want to enable zoom for a certain application?
if you want it for the camera program, download the old camera attachment on this post:

Extracted from HTC Touch Dual & It is an album to view your photos, thanks to JUVS
Check this out just installed it on my phone works great if you have installed FTouchFlo...if you click on a photo you can slide it to the right or left, if you spin your finger the photo wil turn..and you can scroll up and down...it works 100%

i downloaded the file & installed on my Eten Glofiish M700
it installed successfully & shows icon in program list
but when i click th icon nothing happens .. no albubm program starts???
does it work on other devices with WM6 or only HTC??
any tricks to make it work on mine?

sorry ahmed i can't help you...i just found out that HTCAlbum works on a HTC 3600 and wanted to share...i don't no wat the problem is on your mobile..you can try to ask JUVS he is the one who had the original HTCAlbum...

nope that is a recent english one as I am using it!
Pan means you can take a long shot of something by moving the camera left to right

Yes, that works fine - but some practice is needed to make it with finger. Try with stylus first.

On my first post you will see the second image, you wil get that if you open a picture and dubble tap in the center, then press the "i" for info on how to use gestures....if you want to zoom in make a complete circle wit you finger clockwise..but if you want to zoom in on a small part of the foto..make a tiny circle on the picture on the part you want to zoom in....

i believe what the original poster is trying to ask is, is it possible to take pictures with the forward facing VGA camera at all?
I may be wrong but the front camera can only be used for video calls, it's only 0.1Mpixel anyway so I can't imagine the quality would be up to much even if you worked out how to.

No, it cannot be used for skype video. After all NO mobile device is supported for video calls in Skype.

Except for Mcrosoft Portrait there is no IM program to allow for video telephony on Pocket PCs so far. Maybe in the future

On a PC, yes, there are programs for turning Windows Mobile device into a webcam - like "Mobiola WebCamera".

This cam version lets you choose between cam's. It doesn't have the best cam quality, but it works.
Try coolcamera.......you can use both cameras for taking photos......also works as a messenger webcam via USB (And bluetooth).

I have completely disassembled my tytn , and yes it was the connector that was loose. put everything together and ...... The 2e camera is working again .
I will post some pictures witch are useful as reverence.
And I have give the tytn a custom paintjob little retro funky back to the 60' airbrush
the most important is that the front camera is working again

Please do, I would love to see. My x01HT is having an issue with the VGA camera, it doesn't work with webcamera plus, coolcamera, or the GPS camera cab. I think it is unpluged as yours was. Is that the one you had not working? Plus it would be half cool to paint it too. Thanks!

well it's vga, and yes it's not so good in term of quality but it's a handy feature for some people...
and to think about it, trinity has the feat... so how come hermes cannot...? there should be way around to do this...
i mean, if vijay can lit the flashlight with certain commands without turning on the camera... then the camera switching may be possible too

I think Rhodium works better as it match the resolution (3mp) instead of Topaz's 5mp
and is there a cab or do i have to put the files manually on my xperia????

I tried it and its working, but its not much better than default camera app. Adds few options but removes zoom option.

It does. I'm using it on Stock Orange HD.
One thing to note is the orientation of the pictures is messed up, so when you view in Album it shows portrait instead of landscape etc... If you could rotate in HTC Album then it wouldn't be a problem, any suggestions out there for a batch picture rotating tool? Otherwise I'll code one myself...

I use iGo8 (8.3.4.117940) perfectly om my HTC HD2. Now I try to install it on the HTC HD mini of my wife and unfortunaly I get the next error: Failed to open file: ui_igo8\320_480\loading.bmp
By searching the internet I find out I need the SKIN 320x480. It is'nt there!
By now I wonder, is the SKIN 320x480 landscape or portrait? I need portrait
Can anyone help me with that?

Why is that so? At my HTC HD2 I use it in portrait.
because no one made a portrait skin,but my opinion is that landscape is much better view than portrait,especially that mini has small screen
