Well its about time I got something out there for people to look at thus I present to all....
[First off I would suggest doing a nandroid as this is a beta so not all is complete as well as some wicked bugs that I need to work out.]

Sorry bout that I added the instructions...its pretty easy just like a normal theme.

What do you mean basura?, I don't see any indications of hip-hop, or ricers, or bling, or any of that stuff.
Very nice theme. I like it.

Its the transitions from when selecting apps as well as when you press the menu button at the home screen
Also...basura in spanish means a lot....as a noun it means garbage or in the case I am using it grunge

I'm aware of DJ Basura... but you know basura means garbage in Spanish right??

I am aware but if you dig a little deeper it also means grunge as well

Did you create the artwork? If not, can you name your source? Is it free (as in beer)? Do you know any place to find free elegant/professional looking iconpacks and artwork? I need to theme a custom build and custom launcher I'm making, but I'm not an artist. I wanted to use HTC's but, well, they're HTC's.

Well with he launcher finished or at least in the process...I have it now ported to 4.9999. But my grand finale will be on Cyans 4.2

Looks promising but please, drop this Honeycomb theme to the trashs. Make it as simple as was TW by gtg.

What do you need?
Look at Launcher.config.xml for the 16bit.

Enable landscape mode:
- Open AndroidManifest.xml
- Look for
Code:
android:screenOrientation
and change it from "nosensor" to "user"

Already tried that but doesnt work.

whats the difference between the old TouchWiz mod ??

The font looks a bit too bold for the screen. & the icons are a bit too flashy. They don't carry the subdued beauty of the background. Just my thoughts.

sweet! nice to see someone is continuing this project, but i really think you should consider making a launcher as close to stock as possible with just the added tweaks. Speed, customizable default screen etc.

I have managed to get additional locale to the gtglauncher without decompiling gtglauncher, but then again it is not perfect, and does exhibit a strange behaviour.
Whenever I reboot the phone, it will always force close once. After that, the launcher works perfectly, no force close or whatsoever. Landscape, portrait works just like as before.
pm me if you want to know the method.
Edit: The 1st time I tried is the 16bit disabled launcher, and it force closed. When I try the 16bit version, there is NO force close anymore.

Just a suggestion, it will look much nicer if you remove the backdrops. Currently looks too cramped and cluttered.

If you aren't comfortable with wiping, flashing, or
getting your Xoom out of a tuff spot THIS IS NOT FOR YOU.
I wiped because I had to in order to test the ROM. It may work fine without
but I wouldn't bet on it. So if you can't afford to wipe your device then I

Thats what I have and its working fine. Although my device is not on the network but it seems to activate fine.

Well finished this up this morning. Going to flash it and then thats it. Its pretty much final for now. Found that stupid market icon finally. Its in the craziest place. Went through all the apks and made sure I got all the green. Should be good to go.
OK its up now posted new images.

Removed 1% battery ...? I'll try it when you build one with it.

Actually I don't mind the 1% battery I just hated the battery icons used in the base. If/when I find some that I like I will include it. I was thinking about using the ones from my phone but they need rotated. Thats about 200 graphics so its on hold for now.

According to the original base he says it will:

2- Does this rom have all the enhancements of xoom until now like sdcards and wifi adhoc?
3-Does this rom have all the problems of Tiamat Rom 0.1?
4-i have a wifi..i dont know if its EU or USA one. How can i find out?

HTC Sense

Ok. So i've searched and searched but can't find it. Is there a way to get htc sense off of an android phone and install it on the xdandroid build?

You can't because Sense is so interwoven into the phone that it would be a huge chore to even get it out and even if you did get it out, it would seriously be buggy as hell.

Technicall you can as it has been done in the past but the skin slows the phone down quite a lot.

dont bother. I had the froyo version of sense running and it is so slow you will want to shoot yourself. The only way it became usable is if you completely remove everything from each window.
Also sense is so massive it never fit on nand. We had to break it up into pieces where the core was installed on nand and apps had to be on the sdcard.
I used the version that came with the Evo, but i think the desire is probably a better candidate. Best of luck, maybe i was too impatient but some peeps like Wozzer mentioned that you can compress the hell out of the images to help with the bulk. Never went that far.

Hmmm I'll give up on it for now. After playing with the evo...I hate sense. Its ugly. Looks like winmo but without the crappyness factor. I'll stick to adw for now

yeah. The sense that came with the evo originally was hideous. And i was shocked to see the winmo version actually being smoother when it came to the weather animation. I know the newer sense builds are nicer but they are just so big. You are looking at 250mb system partition at least for those bad boys.

If you are looking for some nice Sense like animation there are a couple of threads here you can use which will give you that.

Enabling this will certainly slow your phone down so you need to go to another thread which arrrghhh put together on Speed Improvements.
I am currently running the following speed improvements and I have some nice fairly smooth animation... Performance of the phone is much better too...
Topic 3 - SD-Booster (cache set to 8192 on 8GB SD)
Topic 4 - Overclocking (650Mhz)
Topic 5 - Turbo Charger (Aggressive 1)
Topic 6 - Manage Apps on Boot (Just the pm disable arrrghhh shows)

i already have speed improvements using arrrghhhs methods. im not looking for live walpapers i was lookin for a nice sense for the xdandroid build lol
to acl- i agree. my evo isnt activated anymore (dont ask why) but i did notice stock sense was smoother. now i run max sense which is a little buggy but still better. xdandroid is awesome i think i will just stick to that. thanks

look screen very nice, I have download and install it but I don't know how setup the digital lock & weather with temp. on home page as yours, could you please help me?

the clock is a normal widget, not a lp-sense widget and its settings is in the app drawer. hope this helps

Also to let it be known I use cLK. For magldr version all I do is run it thru the kitchen and change it to a boot folder and take out the the ppp file in the system folder. I dont fully know about how RMNET or PPP is selected so Magldr version may not work I am working on a solution.

the original launcher's a little sluggish tho. I'd suggest using espier launcher. It looks identical but performs alot better

XJ22 told me the same thing. There goes the lid on the next updatelol Just playing. Yeah he told about it but i wanted to keep it in its original form besides the icons being switched out.
