Kenteken Informatie application from Market Place - Touch HD Themes and Apps

Hi,
Some time ago I installed "Kenteken Informatie" (from Rajen_Joris) through Market Place. I think I used the grzegorz10 rom at that time, but i'm not really sure.
After that I flashed to the maryone rom and tried again to install "Kenteken Informatie" from Market Place (from the My Applications list). But now the installer fails without a usefull message (only 'install failed').
And if I search on Market Place, I can't find the program anymore, although it's still in "My Applications" as purchased.
Does anybody have a cab installer (or just the nessecary files) for this program or perhaps a way to be able to install it again from Market Place?

Kenteken Informatie reinstall problem
For me exactly the same problem.
(the other apps from marketplace reinstall fine)
Can anybody help?

Any solution?
I have the same problem. The application shows up, but installation fails. I have a "Kenteken Informatie" and "Kenteken Informatie (1)" in my installed programs list. I can't remove either one, nor can i remove them from the list. They are not registered in the registry, nor can i find anything on the file system.
Anybody got any clue where the registration of these widgets is stored and how i can re-install it?

strange story.
For these cases I have saved the appropiate cabs for TomTom: Navigator, GPS, Voice, Wizard.
I can now re-install without my PC.
Saving the cabs is possible when you do the install without the pocketPC connected and the search your machine for any cab files.
Remeber to put a file with the act code for TomTom if you really want to be independent for re-installing
first of all, thanks for the answerwell, can you be a little more explicit
I just tried what you told me and I can't find the installation files (cab) for the application
and actually the cd menu, is telling me to install the application first, but it doesn't give me the choice to do it
I guess there is a file somewhere, telling the navigator.exe is already installed
I don't get it

you should uninstall tomtom completely.
If not possible i suggest a hard-reset.
Then run the ttn3 SETUP.
Its ok to have the device connected, but DO NOT acklowledge the question on installing in the activesync application manager.
Do a global search on your machine for *.cab
The names are indiative

two (hopefully) simple issues.

Ok i've just thought of two things that are getting kinda irritating on my M5000.
Firstly the fact that no programs seem to un-install, Every time i try to remove any progs i get an error telling me that the uninstall was unsucsessful and asking if i wish to remove it fromt the list of installed progs.
Anyone else have this problem? is there anything we can do about it or is it a case of manually removing everything?
the other thing is the hotmail email account, i dont ever use hotmail and it annoys me having to scroll through the extra account in messaging. is there a way to remove the hotmail account?
Regarding your uninstalling problem. If it happens on all programs you try to uninstall, then your uninstaller is corrupted. If it only happens on one program, then it's probably just that the uninstall information of that program is corrupted. You may want to try other utilities to do the uninstalling (eg. SKTools).
About the hotmail, well, that's easy. Go to Messaging -> Tools -> Options, tap and hold on Hotmail, then Delete.
Have you deleted some files from "windows\appmgr" ??
I've not deleted or changed any files at all. i've had this prob with all three handsets i've had and never been able to remove programs. even since brand new. programs include sbp pocket plus sbp gprs, tom tom, code north irc, resco explorer.
i've just done a hard reset but not installed any exrom cab's so in the next few days i might figure out whats wrong.
i'm sure i've tried to delete the hotmail account before iirc the delete option was greyed out. again i'll have a look when i'm home.
FIRST: If the files have today plug-ins, you first need to disable those plug-ins prior to uninstalling.
SECOND: Have you ever tried changing your bootsplash screen using EnableRapi.CAB? If your answer is YES, then that is the culprit.
To bypass these problems, try to install the same file again, your Universal will show a window stating you need to uninstall the program 1st, press YES, then your Universal will also ask you later where to install it. You can cancel the install if all you want is REMOVE the application completely, or install the UPDATED application if that was what your initial intention.

remove something from programs

hello guys.
i upgraded my p3300 with the original rom from HTC and started to reinstall applications.
when it came to agile messenger, i had several files on my computer, not knowing which one was the correct, i installed the first one i found. was an old version and when i tried it, it automatically downloaded (from the mobile) and installed the latest version.
so fine so good, but since then, when i go to start->programs i have a "messenger" icon which tries to install the old version of agile messenger again. and if i do so, it corrupts the agile messenger today plugin.
if i go to add/remove programs on my mobile phone, there is nothing related to this. i also tried to remove all agile messenger stuff and reinstall a fresh one downloaded from their web. that annoying icon in programs is still there.
so, the question is:
how can i remove an icon that is in start->programs? is it somewhere in the regisry? on the ROM? where can i find it?
solved.
with resco file explorer i went into \windows\start menu\ and deleted the "messenger.cab" file that was sitting there.

Deleting from the Program list

I have used Settings>System>Remove Programs to remove a game but it did not totally remove everything and the program name still exists in the program list displayed in the Remove Programs app. Can I access the list and manually delete it?
Think you need to navigate to WINDOWS->START MENU->PROGRAMS there should be a bunch on .lnk files those lnk files drive the program list
nope, that doesn't do it
The .lnk files seem to be shortcuts to the main programs. The program I'm trying to delete from the Program list that appears in the Remove Programs app doesn't even have a shortcut there. Meaning that this Program list must be located somewhere else. Does anyone know where?
What happens when you try to uninstall it again?
I get a message that reads "...was not completely removed. Do you wish to remove it from the list of installed programs?" If I say "Yes", it still does not remove it.
you may want to give the program a try:
Tms Uninstaller: Will allow you to delete programs that don't show up in the normal remove programs. Direct download in link. (freeware) ~ Thanks Senax
I stumbled across that the other day while trolling for apps n tweaks...you can find the info and cab file here in the 1st post of " Software worth installing on the TP2 *Continuously Updated, links in thread* [Nov 25] " Thread:

Peace...
Thanks
Thanks. That program did it. Nice little app for removing programs. It said it had to delete something from the Registry. Maybe the Program list is there somehow??
No. It's back!
Spoke too soon. That app seemed to remove the program from the list but it's reappeared! Can anyone help?
lmao...that sucks...attempt to reinstall it then delete it...
You've got company
I too am dealing w/this issue. I've even resorted to deleting everything related in the registry to no avail! Now I cannot find the cab for DHR CommMgrPro. I was going to try to installing & uninstalling again. POOP!!

.Apk installs (from sd) will not be updated my Market

I have installed my Desire a few times, because there are so many nice roms to try.
On the last reinstall I found a folder "app" on the App2sd partition with all the .apk files. After the rom upgrade I copied this folder "app" from the pc (ubuntu) back to the normal partition on the sd card. I thought that this was a easy way to reinstall all my applications in a few seconds.
Now the apps works. but when I go to the market with the tab downloads they are not mentioned. Also update notifications of these apps will not work. Is there a way to register my apps in the market/update software ?
Titanium backup has "market doctor" add-on which should update market links. Unfortunately AFAIR this option is only available in "donated" version.
Download AppBrain from the market and when installed select "Manage my Apps" then select "Sync with AppBrain" then if there are any updates select "Perform Install".
The program itself acts as an alternative to the market.
Thanks for the answers. This will help.

Thanks.
Is AppBrain (or any other tool) capable to relink apps to their Android Market source ?
excellent post!
I was wondering why some apps were not showing updates when there were. Angry Bird being an example. Also installed AppBrain the other day and was curious what the Sync options was showing.
Makes sense now ta

Click to collapse
I use this too for a couple of random apps - but I also found if you re-download angry birds (it is available now) from the market place it will keep itself updated then
Of course, if you download from market ANY app, it will keep itself updated then...
What about if you install them from sd, as this topic refers to ?
I'm dealing with 200+ apks ...
Thnx
