firstly i would like to give my praises to all of u for being such good members of this website.The question i am about to ask is a little off topic but can someone plz help me.?Is there such upgrade of windows mobile 2005 for smartphone?and if it does can someone plz give me the link to where i can download it or u would be so kind to upload it here..really appreciate any ans from any of the members of this forum...

If u open phone
setting> about phone> software information then u will see the software number.
just want to pun my name on that... hehe

trying to show off somebodys work as if it was your own, eh?!
not very nice.. for that you'd have to edit the ROM and flash it onto the phone again. don't exacly know what you'd have to change, but there is no way of doing it in the phone..

yes man sure to edit that from ROM, but i dont know how to change it. i found a file name build.prob maybe that is the file to be change the software number..
hope somebody will teach me how to do that...

cannot be done .
i try to change the build.prop file. when try to flashing ROM i got wrong digest on system build.prop.. erm.... may be to change it on the jar file. but how?
does anybody know how to do this? please teach me .

you don't just extract the files from the ROM... you need a program (AndroidSDK?) and then edit the ROM with that, once you're finished it should zip it in its own special way.. you wouldn't edit winows or anything else like that! basics, mate..

Guys plz help me out. i hv lava xolo a500 nd ive rooted it succesfully with the hepl of you guys bt now the problem is that i cant install clockworkmode recovery in my phone. ive tried all ur methods bt i didnt success. so plz jst help me guys. i dont know mch abt clockworkmode thats y i didnt do so mch in my cell cause i dont want to brick my cell. In ur blogs u given 2 methods to install CWM bt i cant install it..
So its a request to u guys to show me the complete method nd even a complete video is very useful to me. ill be very thenkful to u guys.
