[idea] calling all theme devs :)

I just had a quick thought is it possible to have the wallpaper pan over the menu bar, it wouldn't look great with some wallpapers but with something like this

would look great don't you think?

I don't think we can get the title bar to become see thru, the only other way of doing it is to copy the top part of the wallpaper and paste that onto the title_bar.png in framework-res.apk. but then it is hard coded and will look funny when you switch wallpapers.

Yeah it would be sweet if we could give it a smoke glass effect. Maybe in time we will be able to.

The thing is also that the wallpaper does not get up "under" the status bar, so even if it was possible to make the statusbar transparent you would not see the wallpaper underneath. The very top of the wallpaper begins beneath the very bottom of the statusbar, they never overlap.

Hi all
i'm looking for other bottom task bars for windows 6.5.1
so that's the newest windows build with the buttons on bottom
Does any one know if there are any other ones ?
Transparant ones, or just other buttons ?

You can find these buttons in attached file. Just replase in Windows folder.
Buttons are non-language specific and contain no text or icons, so feel free to use them in any language.

OK, so I have a problem...
I'm trying to put together a simple home screen using ADW.
On the bottom all I want is the PHONE on the left / DRAWER in the middle / BROWSER on the right
And for the life of me, I cannot decide on which icons I want to use so I'm hoping I can gather an informal poll from you guys.
All the icons are from phones, most are Android, a few are not.
I labeled them all with numbers so you can just type 1 of each!
[Example: G1, B1, R1]
My favorite combo is the Sense Phone (G6), Gingerbread Drawer (B2), Droid-2 Browser (R4), but please pick YOUR favorite combo!

When you can hit the power toggle button? Figured that would be quicker...Interesting tho.

Transparent status&notification bar?Need Help!

I made a mod of transparent statusbar and the notification draw as well.
However, I got a problem and i dont know how to deal with it .If there anyone can help me ,maybe I can finish my mod soon and great thax to you!

The notification area is fine,and I set the clock to blue to make its text clear.
But the status bar got a problem that if i set it full transparent ,it will turn black(just like the stock style) sometime .
And it doesnt layover the wallpaper,so even it is full transparent ,i cant see the wallpaper through it.
You may see the problem clearly from this one.
Just tell me what to do or your suggestion,thank u again.
