I have this problem:
My bootloader of HTC P3600 ITA with latest WM5 ROM is:
TRIN100 IPL-5.50
TRIN100 SPL-1.07.0000
the radio hardly attach the line... it is always in searching.
sometime with some reset it goes.
I've tried to update the RADIO ROM but at 7% it always says that the image is corrupted (i have downloaded 5 times ad have the same problem)
so i would like to try with the Dopod ROM so i have to flash the HARD SPL Oli but this also says me that the image is corrupted and to check the update utility.
how i can solve? pls help me!
I have solved the problem of image corrupted and tried to flash my wm5 ROM with the RADIO updated versione 1.46.00.11...
at the end i had a "command line time out" error and i had to reset the device.
no update written.
is like i can't overwrite the radion ROM.... can someone help me?

Si infatti grazie! l'avevo trovato facendo ricerche.
Dunque il mio problema è questo:
Dove abito prende solo in UMTS (niente GSM) ed il mio 3600 non aggancia proprio la rete con la TIM (con 3G e Vodafone va benissimo).
Andondo circa 300 metri pi lontano del mio palazzo inizia a prendere benissimo e funzia alla grande!!!!
inizio a chiedermi se è TIM che ha problemi con i ripetitori UMTS (visti gli ultimi continui blackout magari qualcuno si è "fulminato")
cmq volevo provare a mettere su la ROM data in dotazione da TIM (magari ha qualche ottimizzazione particolare)
cmq ho su la RADIO 1.46.00.11 che dici va bene o torno alla 38?

to restore your trinity to factory default and validate warranty download and flash this rom thi is a italian roms!!!

this roms restore all original WM5 ipl,spl and radio, this rom remove also olipro 1.20 1.30 ecc. good for send trinity to repair on warranty
install this rom only when you are in WM5\6, do not install directly from bootloader or olipro dont delete for protection write
INSTALL:
when you are in wm5\6 run the upgrade, trinity reboot and go in multicolor screen with sign 1.07, if you get an error, no reset but only run again file upgrade
work also from SD..if you flash from SD lunch file enterbootloader.exe before lunch the file upgrade

questa e' la roms htc WM5 italiana originale HTC ma modificata per ripristinare il trinity con i settaggi di fabbrica, come appena comprato, e' utile nel caso avete installato roms,spl o ipl non ufficiali e nel caso non riuscite a togliere olipro o altri problemi simili

questa roms ripristina WM5 radio ipl e spl originali, inoltre tale roms toglie olipro ripristinando l'originale
installate questa roms direttamente da wm5\6 e non direttamente da bootloader...altrimenti tutto torna originale ma olipro rimane a causa della protezione sovrascrittura
ISTRUZIONI
quando siete in wm5\6 lanciate il file di upgrade rispondete si all'eventuale domanda sulla sicurezza, il trinity si riavvia e vi troverete nella schermata multicolore targata 1.07 se ottenete un errore senza toccar nulla date ok e rilanciate semplicemente il file e l'upgrade continuera normalmente
funziona anche da SD...se aggiornate da SD lanciate prima il file enterbootloader.exe e poi il file di aggiornamento

i've istalled some udk's rom.. and now i've to restore my p3600 to the original.. where i've to look to found some information about ipl and spl numbers?

non vorrei sbagliare xke ora non monto la roms originale ovviamente e non ricordo perfettamente...percio dico che...IPL sicuro e' lo 0.50, SPL se non sbaglio 1.07 ma di questo non ricordo bene...se hai occasione scarica la roms sopra citata e non hai problemi
now i dont mount official roms and i no remeber perfectly but i'm sur ipl is 0.50 spl i think is 1.07
now on my device i've ipl 0.50 and spl 1.07.0000...
is possible that i've installed one unofficial rom whitout modifing the ipl adn spl numbers? if it is possible, i've no problem whit reistalling the official HTC WM5 rom... someone could help me... tanks

yes, is possible, if you have that ipl and spl, no problem for downgrade to original roms

thank you soooo much... i've a little problem on mi device and i've to send it to htc.. and now.. i'm starting the downgrade of my device.. it will be for a little time... official again...

i don't understand...simply lunch ROMUpdateUtility.exe from pc...what is the problem? you can try to flash from SD, write also in italian if you are italian in this mode i understand
non ho capito, devi solo lanciare ROMUpdateUtility.exe da PC, quale e' il problema? puoi provare a flashare da SD, se sei italiano scrivi anche in italiano cosi capisco meglio

go in bootloader (camera+power and softreset) and see if you are in serial or in USB, if you are in USB you can install roms from PC otherwise flash from SD see here

Hi, i've some problem to restore. This rom on my trinity restore all except IPL.
I've tried by ActiveSync and SD.
All right, with another Romupdateutility i've changed so IPL:
TRIN100
IPL-0.50
TRIN100
SPL-1.07.0000
It's ok for warranty?
ciao a tutti, innanzitutto complimenti per il vosto lavoro... però ora mi serve un aiuto.. non riesco a installare nessuna rom, avevo gia fleshiato una volta, ora monto la rom originale 2.03 con olinex 1.40 ma non riesco ad installare cmq nussun'altra rom.. connetto il pda, (DIAMOND) avvio Unsigned-Hard-SPL-Diamond-OliNex, arrivo alla schermata update e poi mi diventa lo schermo del tel tutto nero, activesinc si sconnette, la barra del pc rimane sempre a 0 e dopo un po di minuti mi da errore262... aiutatemi... anticipatamente grazie a tutti...

hello and thanks for the help imatrix, I have done everything as the guide with matty but then I have the same problem ... 262 error .. instead if reinstalling the rom olinex 1:40 I upgrade succeeded. but equally I can not change a rom
which cooked have u tried to install?
how did you install it? via ActiveSync or Internal Method?

it might be worth grabbing the latest HTC Sync app and installing that if not already
also what OS are you running it from?
I find it easier to turn the phone on holding the back button to get into FASTBOOT, then connect to the PC and run the RUU - means you can do it with non-Sense ROMs too as you don't need HTC Sync
