Is it possible to install the google contact apk on the HTC Desire with Sense? I do like the Sense, but I don't like the HTC contact (people)

currently using ahmgsk mod without sense, but for an exit option would be great if this would work.
The HTC App is inacceptable.

Hello guys, i use cyanogenmod's Rom and i like it but the only thing that i would like from sense is the phone and contact apps. these are more usefully and i love the integration with facebook and the t9 function too. there is someone who have an idea about include this .apk in a cyonogen?

Htc apps dont work with asop roms, they require the htc framework. I think someone is working on it tho

You could use Dialer One for the T9 function for contact search, its available for free on market,
doesnt look as good as the HTC one but does the T9 job

But i dont finde anything like that only threads about if it works on a non Sense Rom!
But my Question is, is there a App Like that form HTC which i can sync with my Facebook Contacts?

Try Contapps. I think it's free in the market.
Dialer one is also highly rated.

There is no app that is like sense contacts and dialer, with their facebook, twitter and flickr transparent integration without any 3rd. part app. Thats why, after one month searching for some way to atomagically integrate my contacts in CM7, I just changed to jokerdroid and all my troubles gone away.
If you find some kind of app that have this features, I will check it and think if I can live without flash in browser before to go again to CM7.

I'm using a legend and noticed that FB contact sync with ogo2s salsa based Rom is not working with whatsapp.
Thus I'm trying to get Facebook for HTC Sense that is missing on Salsa back working on my legend.
Could anybody please upload the HTCfacebook.apk from /system/app?

Just a thought, is it possible to get the Facebook system for htc sense on a stock ROM/ non sense for jellybean. I mean for syncing purposes, because sense can sync fb contact numbers in the people app which is the only good thing about sense.
I know so many people who'd benefit from this.

Can you use "xyz for Sense", without Sense? The answer is in the question, really.
Use haxsync or Facebook contact sync from playstore.
