Hello, have tried making a 3D photo. I use my bravia HX920 to see the photo with the phone connected via HDMI. The problem is that the resolution is very poor.
Is there any way I can configure the arc to see the 3d photos in the tv at 1080P via HDMI? Thanks
Only 480p and 720p are supported by arc.
Checked it at the service menu of the phone.
Sigh, as most 3D TVs are Full HD.
720p should be pretty good though?? that SD (as per most TV broadcasts!)
Where i can configure 480 or 720?

Go to phone dialer. Type *#*#7378423#*#*. Go to Service tests and look for HDMI Test and choose HDMI Settings. 720p is the highest resolution.
Does anyone know of a trick or method to change or force a given resolution for the display output via MHL?
I ask this because it appears to default to the highest resolution available on a given monitor, but 1080p is gimped at 30Hz, which is extremely bad. If I can force the adapter to display at 720p 60Hz at all time then that would be awesome!
Hi,
I want to change the screen resolution of the MHL output because it's not correctly detected maybe because my old monitor or the hdmi to dvi adapter. I wonder there is no native menu to configure the resolution and audio output device or an alternative app... My device is rooted.
So the screen settings are here:
/sys/devices/virtual/graphics/fb1
There is a thread for the evo http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2090396 but on my One there is no hdmid service and no video_mode.
Available is a file named modes which probably contains all available modes and a file named mode which maybe should contain the current output mode.
modes contains in my case U:640x480p-0 and U:640x480p-94
mode contains nothing if I echo an value into its also empty after that.
The monitor supports a maximum of 1280x720.
Is there someone with deeper android development knowledge who can help in that case?
Thanks,
Patrick
Edit: Maybe I get 640x480px because of HDCP protection problems - is there any solution to get the HDCP back to work on a rooted phone or disable it? In the developer menu there is no setting for that
Hey guys just wanna know something
Does netflix app on 7t does not support 4k or not ?
I am asking cos yesterday i logged in with my account on netflix app on my dad’s oneplus 7t and went to settings and opened playback specifications
It said HDR = supported (good thing)
BUT MAXIMUM PLAYBACK RESOLUTION WAS JUST FULL HD (1080P)
It should be 4k or UHD but why max is just 1080p in settings ???
This is a 1080p panel. No possible way to get 4K out of it.
Usb C to hdmi adapter? Use device as media player?

Thats what i thought thx
I have a TCL C6 which can display 4k at HDR. However, the PS5 wont run on 4k at HDR. It can only run at 4K SDR or 1080p HDR.
Any help would be appreciated.
Did you ON or enable/enhance HDMI in setting (and CEC enable) ?
Proper HDMI cable or HDMI input (2xHDMI 2.0 and 1xHDMI 1.4a)?
Firmware version ?
Check also PS5 setting.

Can you guide how to do that.
For reference, Netflix and prime video manage to enable HDR video easily at 4k.
Tried PS5 settings, auto, 1 and 2. HDR works on 1080p, but switches to SDR as soon as i jump to 4k.
Cable is standard Sony cable provided with PS5 box.
My HDMI is in System setting /Advance setting , CEC is also in System setting.
