After pairing my "Nokia SU-8W" with my desire, I run into a problem. They wont connct to each other. The Desire does not seem to recognize the SU-8W as a HID device (Keyboard), and I have no options to specify this. The only option I get (from a long-click) is to unpair the devices againg.
Hope someone have the solution.

try this:
"product Overview: BlueInput is the only Bluetooth HID Driver available for the Windows Mobile platform. Using our driver, you can easily connect bluetooth keyboards or mouses to your Pocket PC"

I'm pretty sure i have everything setup on the pc right. Serial port is configured in WIDCOMM drivers as COM5. Activesync is setup to listen for COM5.. but on the ppc all i see is a serial port selection in the bluetooth mgr and not activesync.. Anyone have any tips to get it working correctly?
It isn't real clear from your post, but I assume you are trying to set up bluetooth sync.
Some avenues for you to explore:
Have you set up a partnership through USB connection? If not, this should be first on your list of things to do.
Have you paired the devices? Turn your PPC to discoverable in bluetooth settings and have your PC search for new devices. The wizard should pick up the PPC and walk you through the pairing process.
Does your bluetooth module support the correct services? Older bluetooth dongles and radios might not support syncing pim info.
I have the exact same Problem.
Did everything like it is described here in the forums. Firewalls and antivir deactivated. Used the right COM ports. Settings in Active Sync match. Pairing successful. The WIDCOMM-Driver even renames the Serial Port to ActiveSync after pairing. But even after all that, if I'm trying to get a Connection from my phone by using the ActiveSync on my phone with "connect via bluetooth", I cannot see ActiveSync there, just Serial Port. Switching on the Beam (like in some boards suggested) had no success either.
I tried reinstalling all. I tried my desktop PC and my Laptop (same problem). ActiveSync does know the XDA when I'm using a cable. I tried deleting the profile and create it again. I tried the Microsoft bluetooth stack instead on my laptop. I tried using another COM-Port. I tried deleting the pairing from the registry on the phone.
I have a XDA Neo / HTC Prophet with WM6 ProphetTouchIX, an Anycom BT-200 Bluetooth Dongle with WIDCOMM based driver. WINXP SP2 with the newest Security updates and Active Sync 4.5.
If anyone has any new suggestions, please post them here. If you have the exact same problem, post here, what you've tried to solve it, maybe we can at least find out, what's causing it.
found this one here:

seems to be the same problem.
if you have Touch IX installed, you need the bluetooth fix from here:

worked for me. Give it a try!
Hey guys in my searches i have found this little app. Theres an unlimited free trial available. it let's you connect any bluetooth mouse to your wm device. great app and would love to use a mouse in conjuction with my igo keyboard. I have tried pairing the mouse however it does not complete pairing and the mouse continues to sit in pairing mode. I used a Logitech V70 following the instructions on the site and it worked as advertised. I've also paired it with my Logitech diNovo Mini although not at the same time.
edit: Actually I installed the cab, turned on the radio, initiated a device search, then I turned on the V70 and pressed the connect button on the bottom. No password was required, I just clicked Next as soon as the mouse was recognized. I think this is a little bit different than the order specified on the website.
i'm encountering two main problems.
1) the Teksoft software is not recognising the bluetooth is on. I'm using the radio rom that comes with dutty's v1.7.
2) after I pair the mouse (with a blank password) it remains in discovery mode.
Just a bit of extra information i'm using the ig keyboard and have the igo software installed not sure if that could be causing problems. Also having read other forums the mouse i was trying to use was the microsoft 5000 and one of the guys had this working perfectly which leads me to believe its my phone.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Bluetooth stack on HTC HD2
Hi All,
I just got th HTC HD2 and I also run into difficulties connecting a bluetooth mouse. Looks like the problem lies in the Bluetooth stack.
I'm using a iGo/Thinkoutside stowaway bluetooth mouse and keyboard. The software (latest version from 2007) does not recognise that Bluetooth is on.
The keyboard is recognised as a standard HID device and works without any additional software.
I tried the Teksoftco Blueinput software and got the same problem that the software does not recognise that Bluetooth is on. Probably it only works with the MS bluetooth stack and not the one on HTC HD2 (TP2, HD, ...?).
I can connect to a bluetooth mouse but the HD2 can't find any services to use.
Anyway, If anybode has a solution please post but my hopes are verly low... :-(
Maybe a wired mouse via USB host on the car cradle will work...

for some reason its not letting me connect to the net to register it.
rii
Did you have any luck registering, I'm running into the same thing?
No drivers on the cd.
The software doesn't work on my Touch HD
I tried the V 1.5RC4 but it always displays: "The BlueInput driver is not responding. You need to reinstall this software."
Is it possibly, that I have a altered bluetooth stack with my ROM (Energy)?
Would appreciate any help to get this to work!

I had exactly the same problem in my Touch HD with Energy ROM and found the solution. Our problem is because the bluetooth HID libraries are missing in the Energy ROM. Thus, first, you need to restore them by using TRV_Bth_HID.cab attached. Restart. Then, you need to pair your mouse and to ensure, that the service "input device" has appeared and marked in the bluetooth manager. Restart with the turned on bluetooth and the mouse connected. Only after these steps, you can install V1.5RC4. Note, that V1.5RC4 overwrites the library \Windows\bthhid.dll, which was in TRV_Bth_HID.cab. As a result, after V1.5RC4 installation, your mouse will be seen as "disconnected" in the bluetooth manager - this is normal. But, if you need to install new device, you will have to repeat all steps above.

Hi, I'm trying to connect my Evo to my Windows 7 laptop so I can use the laptop as a hands-free (better speakers and mic).
It was really easy to pair the Evo, but after that there are no options for connecting?
If you press and hold the computer's name in Bluetooth Settings, the only option is give you is to Unpair. Unless my car and BT handset, where it shows 3 selections (Connect, Unpair, Options).
Has anyone been able to successful pair AND CONNECT their Evo/Android phone to Windows 7?
I got mine to connect once, did it on the laptop side after making phone visible, just transfered some files, doubt it will do what you want without a program on laptop with those drivers that will let it, I doubt it could native
Thanks, yea, on the PC side, there isn't any option to actually connect it?
I can see my phone and it has all the services checked but there's no actual option to connect. Not sure if this is a Win7 or Android issue?
It's the default Windows 7 bluetooth driver; it's not very compatible with smartphones or anything other than some OBEX, headsets, A2DP, etc.
Third-party Bluetooth drivers work OK though, like Blue Soleil.
thanks, that sucks.
hopefully, M$ will improve their bluetooth stack to work better with mobile now that winMo 7 is out.
This is the final beta release of BLUEINPUT FOR BROADCOM which allows u to connect a bluetooth mouse or keyboard to devices with WIDCOMM/BROADCOM bluetooth stack. The only drawback of the beta is u can only connect one device at a time. Connecting a second device disconnects the first device. I would like to connect a keyboard and mouse at the same time to use the TVOUT function. Does anyone think they can make a fix to connect two devices (keyboard & mouse) without losing connection of the first device?
